- Acclaimed singer-songwriter Amos Lee returns to Saturday Sessions. The Philadelphia native known for his soulful voice worked as a teacher and bartender before giving music a try - and now, two decades later, Lee has recorded 10 studio albums. An eleventh album is set to be released next month, ahead of a tour with the Indigo Girls in the fall. Now, from his new album "Transmissions," here is Amos Lee with "Hold On Tight."

I got to see Amos at a venue in the Short North in Columbus, Ohio. I had liked him for a while, and so my husband and kids scored some tickets for us. What a talent. His live shows are so worth it.

I've always wanted to see him play live. This performance just makes that even more true. I think it was @Pete Yorn who turned me onto his music. Great stuff!
His new stuff is not nearly as good as his older stuff. I been listening to Amos for 20 years.

@@dca9143 Google- all his albums. U will see. If u want to hear some of his really- best songs, listen to: "Scared Money", "Crooked" "Song for Tops" "Highways and Clouds" "Long Line of Pain." all way better than his newer stuff. 😉👍🤗
