As someone who is looking at taking a "mini retirement" if you want to call it with my other half for a few months before settling in to my life long in paying bills, this video is so helpful! I loved every second of it and you were so informative for what to bring and why! You deserve so much more attention on here! Keep up the amazing channel, I'm going to head through now and watch your other videos 😂🥰
Hi Katt, this comment has made my day! Thank you so much for watching :) Your mini retirement sounds very exciting, I wish you all the best for an amazing adventure! ❤
Let's talk about packing! Do you consider each item you are taking or are you a throw-it-all-in kind of packer? I'm definitely the former so check out my packing tips and regrets :)
wow. tree months. That is quite a long time. Not all can take that long of a vacation, but we can dream. Will you be doing a sit down video of how your japan trip was like? To good, the bad and in between??
Sorry if I missed this, but how did you manage to not buy so much stuff over there. 😂 Or what did you do with your purchases with only a small suitcase? ☺️
So much restraint was needed to not buy anything 😂 I literally bought a couple of teeny tiny souvenirs (like a tiny plush toy from Disney and a small Ponyo from Ghibli) It made me be so careful about what I bought and also knowing I had to carry my luggage all the way across the world made me want to keep it light too! It was a challenge though as everything in Japan is so dang cute! 😍
@@jessandjay I see, thanks for sharing this! It's definitely a very good way to stay minimalistic. ☺️👍 And in case there was a must-buy, there's always the possibility to send a package to your home, haha. 😊 But the memories are worth more than things and your vlogs are the best souvenirs anyways. ✨
