there was a time when i was using those small locks to secure my carryons. it gives peace of mind when you stash your bag in the overhead compartment.

PAL has come a long way,better everything both domestic and international. In the states especially domestic, I dont know whats more scarier, the old battle axe FA or the planes and crowded airspace!!

Mitch, always enjoy your videos. Also, I would suggest keeping your medicines in either "carry ons" or "on you". The last thing you want to do is find a doctor/pharmacist for a prescription on a vacation.
PAL always has a nice flight crew very friendly :) had an amazing flight with them to cebu last week :) the captain has the same name as mine hahahahaha :)

nice video. regarding sa airport, dati most of the time na mag travel ako madalas sakto na inde gumagana ang security x-ray, kaya manu-mano ang pag check. also, parang mostly propeller type engine (though meron din airbus 320) dahil sa maikli ang runway. saktong takeoff & landing kailangan.. pag nag overshoot... hulog sa bukid. pero hula ko lng yan.

The biggest plane I've been in is the B777-300ER from PAL going to New York while the smallest plane I've been was a prop plane (forgot the type) from AirPhil Express going to Boracay! I might be on the A380 soon (not really sure yet) and if I do, it would be a dream come true.

What I can tell by the Q300 aircraft on takeoff is, yes it's still quite noisy but at least it's slightly quieter than the Dash 7

Hmmm... who could it be...? 😁
The crews of PAL are just fantastic. It is the management that needs to improve. When the passengers purchase a one way ticket, whether a domestic or international flight that is the service that should be gauranteed by PAL. That is not what happened on my flight from MNL to LAX. And the passengers were notified two day before the flight of the major schedule change from non-stop to one stop in Seoul for fuel. This was caused by switching from the 777 to the A330. Nobody was told that they had switched aircraft due to a scheduled overhaul of the 777. I found out about the 777 maintenance status after talking to one of the flight attendants. This is not the way to run an airline. I can imagine how poorly other areas of PAL are managed. The fantastic employees being mismanaged like a Chinese Fire Drill!

ganyang type din ng PAL aircraft ang sinakyan ko from clark to masbate.Nakulong ako sa maliit na toilet nila dahil sira pala ang latch ng pinto.Hinampas ko ng malakas pra makalabas ako pro ayaw.Naghyper ventilate na ako ng may nakarinig na pasahero at piloto.Nong buksan eh bumungad sa akin ang flight attendant at sinabihan akong pangatlo na raw ako sa nakulong.sabi ko bakit di pa nila pinapaayos nag sabi na nareport na nila sa maintenance.After me on the same flight ay may nakulong na naman kaya umupo na sa malapit ang flight attendant.From then on nagkakaroon ako ng anxiety attack pag isasara na ang pinto ng plane.Just like august nagvoluntarily off load ako dahil di na ako makahinga at nahigh blood while about to depart ang isang international plane na dapat ay sakay ako.
puwede mo yan e reklamo. and maybe, ang pwd nila mabigay sayo ay compensation (like voucher, at least!) - kasi, isipin mo to.. what if nagka turbulence at nasa loob ka pa ng cr? maconsider na offense at kabayaan ng carrier yan. at ang pinaka importante... para maayos agad nila.

Dapat sir sa cockpit ka fix mo yong camera mo doon para Makita ang take off at Landing ng plane paalam klang sa pilot. Katulad sa ginagawa ng vlog ng iba...at makikita talaga ginagawa ng pilot including communication at paano cla mag take off at landing checklist.
Sige ikaw gumawa niyan. Akala mo kasi ang dali ng pinapagawa mo. Pasahero lang yung blogger at hindi sila allowed maglagay ng camera sa flight deck. Bobo ka nalang kung hindi mo alam na bawal. Makautos 'to...

Re terminal fees in the country- do you think it's worth paying? Php100 is too much for a local airport terminal like Naga.

Hello! Checked baggage are placed on the rear part of the plane. If you review the latter part of the vid, Sir Robert showed me a small door (closed at the time) that leads to the cargo hold. It's a small compartment, thus the strict limit on luggage weight. As of terminal fees, P100 is worth in a sense that the waiting area is airconditioned but that's it. Hello Vincent! According to a crew member I talked to, PAL Express' Q300 aircraft have been phased out and replaced by Q400 Next Gens... except for 1 which flies to Masbate. Not sure if it has been replaced by the Q400NG recently but if in case not, you might be able to try the Q300 on that route. :-)
