Well said. We people always looks for interesting field or interesting work after a pointof time in life . But this is the reality that anything can't give you the happiness for longer period. So need to find out the way ,how we can stay positive with interest in our routine work.
It's not that the work isn't interesting it's that once you get some knowledge of the work, unless you deal in extraordinary cases you will deal with things you are accustomed to for the most part.
For example, in my firm when I was an article I was put under the Project report and Income tax team (my firm made teams of people who would primarily focus on that work but if free can take works of other teams too), I was for the most part filing returns of income under 5 lakhs because we have 100s of those.
In audit sessions we'd get to see something new but mostly it'll be of the same firm we audited last year so it would be within our expectations.
In project reports, I got to witness new stuff a lot more because each report had it's flavor. However the meat of the report and the financial aspect of it remained similar.
Very true. However, this happens a lot more in articleship phase as compared to the work that you’re doing after you qualify as a CA. Due to the sheer technical nature of work you do as a CA, even if you work in the same domain with clients from same industries, the work of 2 clients is rarely the same and you find exciting new things every now and then.
Still, as I said, work is work and should be taken like that only. The moment you expect to get “exciting” work everyday, you set unrealistic targets for yourself, change fields only to find that it’s a similar situation everywhere.

if he actually doesnt allow you to do these things and simply forces you to study then he is wrong, but if he only suggests these things and doesnt force them upon you then maybe he just wants you to be successful.

Disagree. You can make a good career out of specialising in multiple fields/being a generalist too. It gives you insights to problems from different perspectives which has it's own advantages and gives you an edge over others.
There's a book called Range by David Epstein on this.
I have never asked you to not choose multiple fields within a degree.
All I said is that you need not leave a degree and pursue some other course just because you’ve run out of excitement while doing the work that you’re doing right now.

Exaggeration tbh. It can never be the same level of excitement as Day 1. They say it in a very generic sense to just communicate that they enjoy work which even I do.

I put lots of effort in CA field. Cleared CA foundation, where as my frnd could not at 1st. Then I get into CA inter...worked so hard, give attempts but couldn't not clear even single grp, .... NOW WITH ALL SENSE I QUIT THIS FIELD, prefering some other courses, where as my frnd who couldn't did CA-F at 1st attempt cleard ca inter g1 at 1st attempt. THIS FIELD IS NOTHING BUT GAMBLING!

Sir, I am at the age of 23 now working 9-6 for a company that is under paying me as a salary (its startup) I've dropped my CA and now I am regretting it a lot. Sir please advise me what to do when I saw my friends making more salary than me, enjoying , partying and why I lost 😢😢

This advice works for the majority of people but doesn't work for ambitious people. The only way to do something big is by putting in a lot of hardwork and perseverance over a long term timeframe. 26 age,, started doing CA late due to financial constraints because I had to earn income,, currently in CA inter... Should I leave or still continue. Bohot career tension horha hai sir,,, Kabtak CA banunga and all yeahi sab thoughts aa rahe hai

i think you must consider a lot of other factors while making this decision to pursue this course at 26,.1.are you very hardworking and dedicated when it comes to your studies? 2. is your family financially dependent on you ?. If you manage everyhting correctly you will clear your exams by age 30, which is not late but is also very difficult, you could instead opt for some other easier course which can be completed by in 2 to 3 years like cma us, acca, cpa etc, although these courses are slightly expensive but you can manage these courses along with your job, whereas managing your CA studies with a job is very diffcult. Agar aapke paas 2 3 lakh rupees hein yaa agar aap kisi tareeke se arrange kar sakte ho toh in dusre courses me invest kardo , as hamara end goal to paisa kamana and parivaar ko support karna hai naaki kisi degree ka thappa lagvaana. jaldi se jaldi job join karo and saathme padhai karo kyuki 26 ki umar m bhi khaali baithe rehne se bohot bezattii hogi samaj me atleast job karte raho.
