I'm a retired preschool teacher; I have worked in daycare and preschool for 26 yrs, and I have to say I LOVE ur playroom!! I think It's an awesome experience for ur community!! ❤
Hi Sierra, love the tour! 🫶🏻 i have a video request for one of your vlogmas videos could you do a close the playroom with me video (cleaning, closing down) have a good day 👍🏻😊
Off topic here, perhaps you could make more of the snack area, put drinks in a clear fronted fridge, then have baskets with different snacks in them, that way you could make a bit more money
Thanks for the tour! Love the idea!!! I know you said no exceptions to the 24 months and younger in the baby area rule... I have a 4 year old who is tiny and doesn't walk... would that be an exception? I don't live there but wondering if I ever open one how to allow that or make it clear for those individuals.
I know this is a long shot but I would like to know how you started this. What kind of income does this bring in? And a handfull of other questions. I would love something like this in my area.
Hey, I’ve been watching your videos, and I had a couple questions! I’ve been wanting to start a business and I have 3 kids, so something in that realm sounds really do-able for me. I’m wondering what sq footage your play area is? I don’t want to have a play room be super small, but I want to make sure I can afford a decent sized one. Also do you have any tips for someone getting into this business or must do’s? Thanks so much!
Hers is about 2200 sq ft. Your square footage, number of bathrooms and exits determine your capacity as outline by the local firemarshall. You need to consider what commercial rents are going for, in my community I do not think, that there would be enough of a customer base, to offset the rent, electricity, internet, and insurance costs and still make a decent profit after hiring staff. This play area seems like it is most suitable for babies to about age 6 or 7, any older than that and the kids would lose interest rather quickly. Keep in mind that Sierra has said in other videos that she makes her primary income from social media and not Grandmas playhouse. Maybe if you are going to not hire staff and run it alone you might squeek out a profit, I just do not see this as a profitable business due to the prices she charges, but I do not know if the market would bare more for open play. Rent for commercial space would probably be somewhere between 3-5k per month.
She doesn’t make any money for herself all the money she makes form the playroom she uses to pay for her staff and playroom she makes all her personal money from yt
Do your boys get bored when they have to come to work with mom at the indoor playroom? I know at a certain age 8 year old children are bothered by 5-6 year old children. 🥴
