Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and guidance on self-publishing! Your content has been incredibly valuable, and I’m excited to see the books you’ve published on Amazon. They’re a true testament to your expertise. Keep up the amazing work-it’s inspiring to see how you’re helping others succeed in the world of self-publishing! 🙌📚✨
Wow Congratulations on the results! I made $300 and I'm happy about it lol . I believe Prime Day boosted sales a bit. Let's see what Q4 can do for sales.
@@musodeslife Pretty much everything: coloring books, planners, notebooks, log books, activity books. The majority of this (around 70%) comes from log books and planners.
Thanks for the update! It's helpful to see what you are doing and compare it to what I'm doing. I'm new...published my first book in March. I now have 30 medium content books published. I run ads, but can't get my ACOS down. I'm thinking it's because I'm too new and still don't have enough sales to really get a picture of my progress. I sold 37 books in July for $82 in royalties. My ad cost was about $110. Since March, I'm basically breaking even and not making much profit. However, I know I can sell a book! So, it's a matter of keeping up the momentum and at some point I'll get into the profits. I do need to figure out my ad spending, though. It's still a learning curve.
Congratulations ❤❤ I never get a sell although I make quality books but no hope I don't have money for ads maybe this is the reason since organic is no longer working 😢
Congratulations on hitting your ambitious July goals with Amazon KDP! It's inspiring to see your strategic approach to publishing and advertising pay off, especially with the steady growth in Canada and the success of your adult-focused books. Your insights on seasonal niches and ad spend management are precious. I'd love to hear more about your daily activities in the KDP world. How much time per day do you invest in each part? Which working methods have you found to work for you? It will be precious to understand more about the working process. Keep up the fantastic work, and here's to reaching that $3,000 monthly profit milestone soon! 🚀📚
Thank you, it's quite fluid in terms of time spent as one day I might make a RUclips video and do nothing on kdp at all. Another might be a full day of making content, another half day doing a cover and half a day on Etsy :)
Love your content - honest and real - thank you! Can I ask how you sell on Etsy? Do you hold stock and ship out or can you link KDP directly to an Etsy listing? 😊
Awesome, congrats on your results and reaching your goals! Good Ad results as well - Aus aside. 👍. Aus was going well for me until this month - when I suddenly checked and one of my Ads had soared over 100 Acos lol. Usually, it's been fine though, so I'm not sure what happened there.
Thank you, I'm a new book creator, really enjoy your video's a lot of useful information. Could you do one on key words for coloring books. Both in the category and key words when first publishing and in the advertising boxes. I use Rocket to research keywords, but struggling to have them appear in Amazon search.
Another thing that I want to ask you on is about the covers , I really trust your process and all the things that you state so please can you make a video about making stunning and catchy covers or could you give me some highlighted points to focus on in my covers and thank you ❤

I started creating coloring books and notebooks with the use of canva , creative fabrica , and ideogram ai .. the niches that I go in are most likely 40 to 100 results with 2k to 20k amazon search volume and a bsr of 30k to 600k average... Are these good signs for getting sales organically and what are the things you advise me to work on to stand out with my books ?
I'm a newish KDP publisher based in Australia. Australia is such a big country with a small population and Amazon is relative new to us (compare to US and UK). So traffic and demand in Australia market place is just a fraction of US and UK. Also we can get really cheap mid content books from K-mart (like Walmart) and other department stores, due to the cost of printing for Amazon is so high in Aus, we are forced to price our books higher therefore making them very uncompetitive. People will only shop on Amazon books for uniqueness. I wouldn't bother advertise in Aus tbh. I run a lottery champaign with all my books in it since July, and I got 1 sale out of that, with a very low ACOS, that's just as far as I'll go with Ads in Aus.
How have you made so many colouring books so quickly? I’m starting to make my first colouring book and it’s taking SO long to make the images on Midjourney for 50 images.
I've been doing this for almost 2 years and around a year full time ;-), so that'd probably why! Take your time with them. Quality over quantity (to an extent!)
Do you publish same book on few market e.g. US and Canada or you publish separately with others keywords, title etc.? How do you advertise books on the same category to avoid competition with yourself? As series or something different
How about organic sales? The figures computed based on ads… I just published my first high content book, run ads and 2 weeks gone, 1000 impressions and barely no clicks at all haha
For my organic sales just minus the amount of orders I made through ads from the total sales. However, organic sales tend to come from books that were launched using ads and I've now turned off. Ads are very important overall on amazon.
Wonder how much time it took to make 1000+ books when after upload publishing amazon is telling that sometimes we need even 10 days for book to become public and we are limited to upload 3 books per day m

Generally you need to use Amazon keyword ads and get sales for your keywords in order to rank for those search terms

Sounds good. keep an eye on their organic ranking as you may need to use keyword ads to boost them up!

Do you create your books yourself? And do you focus on getting reviews or mainly on adds when launching the books?
Yeah create the books myself and focus on sales. Reviews will come in time

Yes on Amazon kdp you publish one book and it's the same across all markets. It would be nice to alter them but it works well enough!
