    Awesome. Interesting interview. Another reason why I love old school pro wrestling. The old guys know their stuff which is the very reason why their achievements did the wrestling world good in their day. Hey, when I look at a lot of these old school videos on youtube, even the new fans give this classic wrestling some well deserved praise. Luckly for me, I lived in the era which is the 80's where wrestling was the bomb. Eternal love for the old school.

    Wow, I remember seeing Watts at the Milwaukee Auditorium around 1968. He was in the main event against the Champion, Vern Gagne. It was the first time I saw a "good guy" vs. a "good guy". The match ended in a DQ against Watts. A guy behind me started ranting about it, so I asked him what's up. He had driven up from Chicago to see the match, and the same exact thing happened there the night before. That's when I smarted up as to what wrestling was all about.

    I would of paid to see Cowboy Bill Watt's and Harley square off inside or outside the ring. Two of the toughest people in the whole industry.

      Bill gets overlooked in the tough guy talks . He was a champion collegiate wrestler and football lineman . However , I think Bill has already said Danny Hodge was too much fir him .

  • @James8107
    @James8107 11 лет назад

    putting a match together and being the main guy of a company are 2 completely different things..and besides, the man in question here is VM Jr., not his father since he obviously had a different perspective on the business at the time. To say Vince Jr. "injected the poison" as the guy said in 76' is crazy.

  • @James8107
    @James8107 11 лет назад +1

    In 1976, I'm sure Vince Sr. didn't foresee the huge changes his son would make to the business otherwise he wouldn't have sold the parent company to his son and Titan Sports.

    • @Rjensen2
      @Rjensen2 10 месяцев назад

      You'd have to be pretty stupid to believe that. The expansion started well before Sr. died.

    Watts would succeed today in the wrestling business... it is so weak now... TNA should give him the reigns... they can't do any worse than what they are doing... everybody is still wanting wrestling to be what it was in the '90s... NOTHING is what it was in the 90s...

    There are so many wrestlers that can’t stand Bill. They said he was a bully, he would take advantage of wrestlers and was well know for asking wrestlers to let him show they how to do a move and shoot on them knowing he’s the boss and they couldn’t do anything back. Plus, his head was way too big for those dumb cowboy hats he wore. He looked like a goof with those hats on.
