Very cool! By the way, this might have been beyond your budget, but there’s a thing called a Duratrans that we use as backdrops in the film business. You could get a backdrop like you made, but printed in one piece. It’s also translucent so it can be lit from behind.

Not sure how doable it'd be, but having UV reactive flowers/paint around the pond would also match well! I know bioluminescence is huge on Pandora.
