It feels good to see both cities are giving chase to the development of their respective capital cities (Pattaya-Bangkok and Cebu- M.Manila). Let's face it: Pattaya is more improved. Cebu needs a lot of cleaning/clearing to do like getting rid of those eye-sore electric wires. Shanties in Cebu are pretty numerous.
Pattaya isnt even a comparison, Pattaya has about 100,000 population with no industry other than prostitution. Cebu City has close to 3 million population with diversified economy. of course there are shanties it is strategically located as people from neighboring island provinces migrate to cebu

Hmmm. Depende. Kala mo ang linis at ang ganda ng beach nila pero puro dolomite sand yan. Tsaka di gaanong malinaw ang tubig at may basura din nung pumunta kami ng 2018. City of pokers talaga ang Pattaya that's the on your face reality. There's no real industry as far as what I have seen. Better go to Phuket or Kho Samui.

First Cebu is second largest city in PH. Pattaya was a small sleepy fishing village till late 50s. Not a fair comparison.

For me Pattaya wins..Medyo marami slum areas sa Cebu...maganda lang is ung Cebu Business park at ung it Park..Yan kulang sa Pinas ung anak lang ng anak..unlike Thailand 70 million lang sila unlike sa atin 110 million kaya grave makikita mong mahirap sa Pinas...Partida malaki land area ng Thailand compared sa Pinas...Ung Metro Manila makikita mo parang pa India na sa daminh bahay bahay at sandamakmak na squatters.Pangit din ng roads and transportation sa Cebu...Hope magkaroon na sila ng RAILWAY SYTEM OR SUBWAY DIN...SUPER BEHIND ANG MANILA NGA SA BANGKOK..

YEs Cebu wins in terms of high rise buildings but in terms of road networks and mass transit, pattaya wins definitely since its not an island isolated from capital city compared to cebu which an Island far from the capital metro Manila
