I am so so sorry for your loss😔 no one knows or understands the mental, physical, and emotional pain a momma of loss goes through until they go through it themselves. I lost my first baby at 6 weeks November 2010. I lost my 2nd baby November 2016 at 20 weeks stillborn. We had just found out we were having a girl and then a week later days before thanksgiving we lost her. We had another stillborn April 2017 we lost our son at 16 weeks. When I say I understand what youre going through, trust me I KNOW EXACTLY what you guys are going through. Losing a baby is so so hard. Being pregnant after those losses is even tougher. We got pregnant in June of 2017, found out later we were having a girl, and she was born February 2018. My rainbow baby girl has been the best gift God has given me🙏 I know youre still in grieving time but once you guys are ready to try again, pray nd have Faith that your baby will be soon in your arms.

I really admire your guys strength telling your families you didn’t want to celebrate in the traditional way. I had my first miscarriage in July 2016 and Thanksgiving that same year my husband’s sister did her gender reveal. I dreaded that day so much and when it came I isolated myself upstairs because it was just too hard. I wish I felt strong enough to tell my husband and our families that I didn’t want to celebrate the same way we always did. P.S. your journey is very inspiring. I had two miscarriages before I had my now 14 month old baby girl. I can’t even imagine carrying a child full term and losing them. You two are probably one of the strongest couples I know of. Keep being amazing and enjoy every little moment with Briza. She’s absolutely beautiful. ❤️
My mum died when I was 9. And I found that people never spoke about her. I needed people to talk about her. I needed to say things like ‘ my mum would have liked that’. I held all my grief in and it didn’t end well. So people should Try and mention the person who has passed away like you say.

I totally understand the not wanting to celebrate the coming holidays my son D’Andre was born sleeping in March 2018 and then in May was both my daughters birthday and mine and then Mother’s Day I was in no shape or form in the mood to celebrate my birthday or Mother’s Day I just didn’t see the point if I didn’t have my son with me. My family was very supportive and respected the fact I didn’t want to celebrate. We did do a small dinner for my daughter since it was gonna be her first birthday. Last year was hard in Christmas and until this year it’s hard or as I feel even harder because he would already be one year old and be walking and babbling 😭👼🐘 I miss my son so so much. After loosing a baby and having a baby that was born so early after a loss at 23.5 weeks weighing 1 lb 1 oz and spending 6 plus months in the NICU which allowed me to bring our baby girl home..... I thought for years ( my daughter was born in 2009) how I could give back to other micro preemie moms and nurses. I decided I would try and visit as many level 4 NICU’S as I possibly can around the world. Just hold and rock babies that the parents can’t spend more time with. Talk to other moms that are scared. Donate clothes that might fit smallest of babies. And just spend time listening and caring about other loss and NICU parents. Although I could never repay these amazing nurses and doctors, I hope it’s a start. WOW.. I appreciate this video. I lost my son at 36 weeks on Dec 11th of this year and Christmas was heart wrenching... I didn't know I put myself out there and still went and spent time with family and I wish I didn't. I'm sorry this happened to you both as well.

I admire how open Jonathan is about his pain and/or what helped him or both of you as a couple. Many men don't express their feelings. it's not even just when losng a baby that festivities feel alien...I lost my partner in 2009 when I was 29 and I simply couldn't face Christmas at ALL..my whole world had changed and been ripped apart.....but tried to go along with it...which didn't work at all. Deffo good advice to be open with family and friends about what you need or your intentions for the holidays. You two are brilliant and the fact you take your appalling grief and channel it to help others speaks volumes about you.
Don't know if anyone has told you both- I'm very proud of you, for getting help when you need/needed it, keeping this channel to help ur self's get through, as other's in the same situation! This scene reminds me of my granny passed away seven years ago. That was one of my most tragic situations I ever had in my life. She has lived to age ninety-four. I missed her very much. So sad & so true.
These holidays would've been my daughter's first. She was born sleeping January 2019. My husband and I try to do little things to include her in the holidays. Something that helps me is decorating her garden for each holiday/season. Thank you guys for your advice.

I have never been through what you two have. But I have been through a difficult childbirth. I had a healthy daughter as a result though. I can’t imagine the trauma of a birth with a stillborn baby, physical recovery, hormonal swings and body changes as well as a funeral to plan and empty arms. I never thought about those things till now. I’m so very sorry you lost your little boy Braxton. That will never go away. I want to thank you for being brave enough to help others in your situation and to help those who aren’t to understand. Your daughter Briza is a beautiful little girl and I’m so happy you have her and she is healthy.
