Hi, Steve. I'm with you on this one: it does feel strange to fly with no sound. I have a couple of similar cameras and would appreciate if I could get get audio from them as well. That would be really great! (Already have the small mics). However, after installing a mic where do you get audio out from? I believe there may be an audio out pad beneath the bottom pin header, though... Would you mind to share how do you plan to do this? Thanks, and keep these videos coming!
OK Victor on my Camera the Audio is located next to Video out signal you can either direct solder or remove three pin plug and replace with 4 pin plug base instead.
Make sense. I've been taking a further look at some of my cameras and in some cases I will have to actually remove the connector to reach the audio pad, unfortunately. Thanks and keep the videos coming. I'll probably be mirroring your Cyclops mod as well. ;-)
