What was lacking was mentioned and acknowledged by critical beauty.
Transparent straight yo the point. And factual.
I hope this becomes a reference for MU USA to improve for next years that event.

Personally I do not care about entertainment. It is just time for me to go the bathroom. There haven’t been a performer who held my attention since Lady Gaga and she was at MU. The show should really be about the contestants and past winners. Hence I was disappointed the girls did not wear their state costumes for the opening and no swimsuit and gown parades for the non placers.

Your vlogs of the Miss USA 2024 telecast captured the electrifying and exciting audience reaction, somehow the audience excitement didn't translate smoothly into the live coverage. Overall, the pageant was good and happy that they honored Miss USA 1953. Running a beauty pageant trapped in controversy is no easy task, but credit to Laylah Rose for delivering a decent show.

The Miss USA 2024 pageant felt like a poor state pageant. If this continues, how long will the Laylah Rose survive with less than 600,000 people watching the show. There is no way the organization is making any money.

You have to remember that Laylah took over Miss USA only in August 2022. She literally only had six weeks to prepare for the 2023 pageant (which would usually require six months in advance) PLUS she was able to contract a network TV to broadcast the show for three years. Also, from what I’ve heard, the former director Crystle Stewart had major debts which Laylah inherited, and one of the conditions that was required for the purchase of the franchise was for Laylah to pay Crystle’s debts. This is the reason why Laylah had to cut back on expenses in the production. Too many people are trashing on Laylah and the show without knowing the background story. In order for any business to succeed and survive, you have to make certain necessary concessions. People should be thankful to Laylah for saving Miss USA/Miss Teen USA and supporting her instead of vilifying and attacking her.

I think because you have granted a media pass therefore you can’t have too genuine thoughts about the show, production wise was pathetic to me but you just can’t say it, hope you speak like how you did in the past by not attending the pageants, so that you can criticize whatever is necessary.

Im not defending critical beauty here but. He mentioned what was lacking and what was plain and simple for the event. He dis not criticize but he pointed out mistakes and points for improvement.

@@ericsiow2640 my thoughts about the show reflect the majority of many - that it was low budgeted and lacked the excitement of past editions. I could have said “pathetic” but there wasn’t anything miserable about the production at all. It went smoothly without technical glitches, everyone on stage did the job that they were supposed to do, and there was no drama.

OH OH OH it was a sponsored project. No wonder ... I thought something happened ... you were "gentler", not the usual "critical" tones which I love :=) but great gig nonetheless ...
