The Metkayina clan is also fascinating because of their differences. I saw a clip at the end of the first Avatar that was remastered and rereleased in the theatres, in 3D, and it was jaw dropping. It was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. This will be an experience you won’t want to miss.
the fact my guy James Cameron waited almost 13 years to improve his cgi and character models just for his sequel is true dedication man also, rumor has it that avatar 2 will be 3 hours and 10 minutes long
Fun fact. The Terminator was always supposed to be liquid metal. The tech was not up to scratch when T 1 was being filmed so they went with what is now history. The tech gets better and it's first tested in The Abyss (I love this movie) and it worked well enough, and more was learned that we could then have our polymorphic T 1000 in Terminator 2. James Cameron wants the best so if he has to wait for the tech to catch up, he will.
Hopefully the music will be as magical as it was in the first one. Sadly James Horner is not with us anymore for the 2nd film. Lets see how the new composer performs, from what i hear in the trailer, it sounds promising.
If you think the final animation comes straight out of the box from motion capture looking like this, you are crazy mistaken, those are hundreds of artists working countless hours to make it look that amazing!
The visuals are amazing. Yes, oceans are very overlooked and the depth of the oceans keep throwing up new surprises as technology hasn't reached to explore those depths. The trailer makes it appear that the company made more Avatars and they are coming back for the resources, is my guess. But, it does feel an interesting story. Enjoy the banter and analysis.
As an indigenous person, I see this as a different and beautiful way of viewing our very own history. And what still happens today. Native peoples fighting to save their beautiful land and what they love, against invaders who wish to exploit and destroy their environment and the people, sound familiar? Aye But when she says” I feel her heartbeat” I’ve noticed a lot of people confused, but she is talking about Ewa(I’m not sure how it’s spelled) but she is their “Mother Earth” or “Mother Pandora” the giver of all life and protector of the balance of life. Buh leave it to humans to upset that balance Haha jus wanted to give a native perspective😌
I can't imagine how complex the programming when making this especially the rendering and simulation standpoint, once again kudos to the studio especially weta digital.
Nah, Top Gun: Maverick is the best movie of the year. The use of practical effects is much more satisfying than a CGI fest. Besides, Top Gun was hands down THE BEST theatre experience for me of all time.

Amazing that james cameron and his team took a real life example and morphed into an amazing story.

I love the first Avatar. This one looks visually amazing and I can’t wait to see it! It’s gonna be the first 3D movie I’ve seen in years! I do wish we had an idea of what the story is about though…
I'm hoping that because it has been so long since the first movie, this will feel very fresh to us when we go back to Pandora. And the two-year gap between sequels is a rather good idea, despite being critical at the idea at first, because it allows for us to let the previous sequel sink in and then let us get a little break, therefor avoiding fatigue.
Franchises such as Avatar or John Wick take a story we are all well familiar with, adding a new twist to it on top of fantastic choreography and acting. I don't think it's a problem that the story is a bit predictable as some people like to argue, I mean, that's okay. It's a new take on a familiar concept, and it's incredibly gorgeous to look at.
