This video exposes the error in what David Yonggi Cho teaches about “the creative power of the spoken word”. This is only true for the words spoken by God, not us. Our words do not release divine power. This false teaching wrongly assumes that, because we are made in the image of God, we have the same ability/authority as God to speak something into existence with our positive confession. We do not. This false practice originates NOT in the pages of the Word of God but the New Thought Movement of Phineas Quimby, who, rather than being a follower of the risen Jesus Christ, was a disciple of the hypnotist, Franz Mesmer. Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of the Christian Science cult, was a patient of Quimby’s and gleaned much of her demonic theology from him. Quimby is the originator of the ‘law of attraction’, which teaches thought (and speech) can bring things into existence. It is this false teaching that was embraced and given a ‘Christian veneer’ by E. W. Kenyon, who was also heavily influenced by the teaching of Mary Baker Eddy. Kenneth Hagin in turn built his theology (almost word-for-word) on the false teaching of E. W Kenyon, and is from whom we get the Word of Faith / Positive Confession Movement. Too many Christians have fallen for the Word of Faith lie that our words have creative power. The claim that “if you do not speak the word of faith clearly, Christ can never be released” is as dumb as it is blasphemous. The claims over the meaning of binding and loosing (Matthew 16:19) is a good example of what a poor biblical understanding Yonggi Cho has. It doesn’t mean that Jesus is “bound by our lips and our words”. We don’t get to decide what is “bound” and “loosed”, God has already determined that. This is why Jesus taught us to pray: “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:11). The words “bound” and “loosed” in the Greek verb form are in the perfect passive participle, providing a sense of something having happened. This is part of speech present in some languages (such as Latin and Greek) but not present in English. It’s therefore difficult to render an accurate translation of Matthew 16:19 in English. An accurate translation of the Greek can be found in the New American Standard Bible (NASB), which reads: “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth [1]shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth [2]shall have been loosed in heaven” (emphasis added). The Greek reads: [1] estai dedemenon [2] estai lelumenon We don’t have the right to ask, let alone demand, that God does something. People, please read your Bible!

I remember a minister mention a book called "the secret" I can't remember along the lines of which he spoke about it wether good or shunning it, fast forward I was on YT as I usually am lol In the free movie section and lo and behold there was a movie/doc about "the secret" based on the book, After watching it I can sense their id some similarities on the subject of "faith". I've come to the conclusion that faith is a universal law and can be used by anyone whether a believer in God or not, the formula or method practically works the same as taught by pastor cho, in the example of him praying in detail for that ladies husband and life partner to be. I won't say it's completely biblical 100% because the only thing left out of the equation is God but apart from that there is some truths.

This audio book is a follow-up to, Prayer: Key to Revival (which I think should have been titled - Prayer: Key to Life) because it transformed my life when I first read it back in the 80's. I've since listened to these books again, and his writing is just as effective and important today.

I HAVE DOUBT IN 16:28 WHERE he mentioned hebrew 11th chapter, about faith in bible jesus said "faith is confidence, hope, assurance, asked us to have faith on god's plan and work together with Him to made it perfect" in eg , Jesus didn't mentioned in that chapter about to ask our clear cut vision. i couldn't understand... do you explain me please

So that is definitely a clear cut vision!
Thank you God abudently give you more spiritual insight to the need of His Children. I have read other books but this audio Book has given me God's explaination of the other books which we more devil oriented they rarely mentioned God as the Sovereign creato they spoke about the universe which made me say they are satanic. I stopped reading. I am a born again Christian I wanted to hear The Creator God The Father and The Sovereign Son Jesus and The Holy Spirit. Each time I read this book my mind is blown 😃😃. If only we could embrace the teachings we will conquer the world as He Jesus is the Conqueror. Amen Amen. Man of God God's General may your Soul rest in peace. Thank You God for this unique treasure. I remember very clearly putting in a faith- pledge for our church- building fund as led by God, then praying this prayer " if I give unto God this money that is for my house( hvnt owned a house yet, still renting), then I'll have my own house to live in cos I'll have all the bricks, the stones, the sand, the skills, the technology, the manpower, the plants etc etc.....I'm living in this house now..the one God promised N He confirmed it by showing me a double complete rainbow 🌈 right in front of my front glass-door.

God created us in His image and gave us a mind that’s what sets us apart from animals,animals have a heart,eyes,legs,they need food just like us but they don’t have a mind like humans. Everything we have materials was created by someone using their mind ..imagination . We must read the Bible for our faith to grow….FAITH COMES BY HEARING OF THE WORD. can you imagine if you write down and start seeing your self like JESUS…you ask in prayer and imagine to see your self like Jesus do the miracles just like HIM ,heal the sick, cast out devils from people just like Jesus. Yes you can become just like Jesus if you ask and want it and desire it you would do same miracles just like HIM.
