  • I had a viewer who needed to know how to setup and how the reverse function worked in the Durafly Tundra V2. So in this video I explain how to setup the reverse function on your Spektrum transmitter. Simply done.

I got the Night Tundra in its box waiting for the maiden. Looking at your flight it seems to be well behaved and fun to fly.
I hope there won' t be any problems when I assemble it. Your explanation of the reverse function will help fore sure.
The Avios brand has a very uneven quality. Some times they are perfect, another model might not even fit together when assembled.
I'm happy HobbyKing don't have the same warranty policys as Motion. 😄

Glad to help. Enjoy that fun bird. Mine is all stock except for my EASY LIGHTS and the wheels.

Simpler (less wordy!) version: on landings, ailerons are only used for wing leveling. Directional control is rudder.

Nice Video , good explanation of how to set reverse with the Hobbystar RSV esc. I like my Night Tundra however I have had cracking issues on the main fuse where the plastic wing root joins the main fuse. Inspect the fuse closely after every flight now because I did not and only started looking when all of a sudden during a flight the aircraft was trying to roll hard on the cracked side. Luckly I was able to land it with out incident. Enjoyed watching ✌

You could use 5 min epoxy on that. ThNks for watching.

Very nice! I was close but simply trying to use another switch as a throttle switch and reversing it. I have that reverse wire plugged into an Auxiliary since my Gear switch is actually where I plugged my flaps into and have it working on switch D for different flight modes. I've only been flying for about 6 weeks but ready enjoy it and really dig your video's! I bought the Arrows Bigfoot as my first plane but it's been sent back since the Vector Stabilization was messed up. They have agreed it was not right. Anyway, great video's and thanks for the answer. This should be an easy fix!!

Just FYI, I tried another propeller since the carbon fiber one that came with the plane was so unbalanced. The prop APC12060 is not only a better balance prop it makes the plane much faster. But I definitely had to scoot the battery back to balance the nose since the heavy prop changed the COG. Just thought I would share!

Is the night Tundra the same as this one. I’m looking for my second plane.

would everyone recommend this or the carbon cub s2 rtf version for a beginner?

I would recommend the carbon cub s2 rtf as the best starter or the mini apprentice rtf.
