Serena had no ATG rivals post 2008, which is why she was able to accumulate 15 Slams and inflate her stats. She is a great player but not the GOAT.

Thank you for this. I've met both the Sisters and while I prefer Venus' game I respect the hell out of Serena too. There are a LOT of haters out here and they can GF themselves, always judging her more harshly than others for similar behavior when none of them have close to her record. It's bullshit. And FWIW I think she and Roger should seriously consider retirement this year much as I love them both.
I totally agree with you. As much as I would like to see both of them win one more Grand Slam, they actually have nothing to prove, but Roger and Serena in their prime was something to behold.
