Because the people who ran the show had no idea what they had lucked into when they cast Naya Rivera as cheerleader number 2. Same goes for Heather Morris. They got extreme lucky when they cast those two. They rest were deliberate choices.
I was watching this exact episode when I got the news about Naya and I've been crying ever since. This is the first time I came back to watch this again. I never cried over anyone's death, but this one just hit me. I miss you so much angel baby Naya. I know you're still with me, with us, with your family and your son.

This was always one of my favorite song clips and at least we still have it. To me, Naya R was feisty and outspoken and totally hot. Most of all, I am sad for her little 4-year-old son. I hope he has a lot of love and support from his family.
I feel bad for quinn. She had many troubles but the glee club never made a segment about her. As puck said in this episode everyone cared about santana but noone cared about her. I love santana btw and im not saying this because i thought that they didnt need to do a segment for her but because i thought that quinn deserved one aswell
honestly Quinn got a WHOLE SEASON. Which was the ENTIRE first season where most of the b plots in each episode in some way had to do with her. The 3rd and second season HEAVILY featured her and her issues though she appeared way less in season 2-6 because season 1 was so focused on her.
the glee club stood by her side the entire way through her pregnancy and after even though she had been so mean to most of them ... how much more do you expect them to give ??
I feel so bad for lea Michele that she was in the tv drama glee show and she didn't look too happy to herself that she did not get a chance tp go on stage perform or even rehearsal for singing any song at the McKinley high school it was so unfair !!

I don't get why Santana didn't get more solos in S1, she didn't start singing till S2! She has amazing vocals!!
