I think the neck is just about the perfect length. Any shorter and he would look like a guy stilts instead of a cyborg menace - it keeps the rest of the body in better proportion.

I used a regular hair dryer, let it sit on the head for about two minutes, and pried out the inner plastic base using the end of tweezers to break the plastic/glue seal. Hence I was able to reuse the head as a neck collar.✌️🤘🇨🇦

for as crappy as that movie was the toys really were nifty. you know what I've been hoping to see someone do? Make a Mazinger Z from one of the 12 inch Buzz Lightyears!
