Another episode that the transformation was caused by fear, anger and pain all at once. Love the storylines in this series so much, they covered so much, such ashame the show ended before he was cured.
It really seems to be any extreme of negative emotion. Fear, stress, anger (including extreme frustrations), and even despair (as in The First - he transformed while crying, and the Hulk was lethargic and slow for a while). It's a shame the series ended the way it did (first with an abrupt non-ending, and then with a trio of "event" movies that didn't really feel like the show, followed by a canceled fourth movie due to Bixby's death).
+zazelby wow someone actually knows about the show like me! A shame it ended season 5, a minor problem was a normal episode. A proper ending shoulda been done.
In Never Give a Trucker an even Break,Vendetta Road,Beast Within,he Hulkouts due to extreme fear.My favorite Fear related Hulkout was Trial Of The Incredible Hulk where David wakes up from a a nightmare. As he's washing his face he realizes that it's not just a dream. He really does have to stand trial. He already knows what's gonna happen when he gets grilled! The fear of having his secret exposed to the world and what the Hulk might do to those crooked lawyers caused his emotions to overload.
@stvoyager I have allot of favs from this series, (fav show), I thought Killer Instinct, also from this season was great in that it deals with the aggression in football players and professional athletes. I grew up on this show, and it will always be one of my favs.
Alice had to say to The Hulk, who saved her from jumping to the street from the billboard, that he's not real. Illusions don't have substance and she should know that, drunk or not.
It's a shame that Alice didn't remember David Banner, who was a friend of her father's,whom she hadn't seen since her father's funeral. David had to change into The Hulk to save her from killing herself while she was under the influence of alcohol. She had to say to The Hulk that he's not real. Illusions don't have substance.
Even if she remembered David Banner again after the last time he saw her at her father's funeral, which was several years earlier, would he tell her what has happened to him since then and would she promise not to tell anyone that he survived the lab fire and didn't let anyone know why he couldn't tell people the reason he went on the run?

Followed a white rabbit down a hole and ended up in a billboard. Who has worse hallucinations this Alice or American McGee's Alice? Great vid though.
