These institutions work in combination to ensure that absolute power isn't given to one person or one group of people. It's also nothing new to have a Democratic president and a Democratic Senate majority or vice versa. Whether or not it's a good thing is subject to debate but it by no means takes away any checks and balances.

If you have a 2 trillion budget but 70% of it goes to help rich execs and big corporations, it's essentially pointless. But you could make a 1-1.5 trillion dollar budget go a long way to help people if you just make sure nearly every line item goes directly to people or programs that will help them.

On the Republican side, attacking Trump will only create a backlash in the voter base she needs and make her lose the support of the Republican voter. The best and least liar thing she can do is to speak that there are several demands that have to be solved and not directly answer a question that would affect her totally, even more so as a candidate on the republican side trying to get moderate and mantain republican voters. And on the Democratic side, he cannot also give a number if the party is in a delicate negotiation trying to achieve a bipartisan agreement, if he releases a figure it can affect negotiations indirectly, it is best to focus on that the important thing is that any number must covers certain points without giving a figure. It sounds a bit dishonest, but on the base of voters and political cost in the long run it is insignificant to dodge a question than to get into a losing issue by being direct.

i’m an assistant manager at the Movie Theater in my home town in Texas and this move from HBO Max has already projected a big financial hurt for us. The pandemic already did cut down from us a lot from working less hours, having less pay roll to do anything, adding more work for us to do to keep a great open sanitized environment for everyone to suspending pay raises or promotions to happen because of loss of revenue we haven’t made. I love my job at the theater but this move HBO Max did was a straight slap to the face. I really do wonder how the theater industry is going to recover after all this that is happening...

Theater companies should look into opening up drive in theaters in their parking lots. This would be social distanced and give the company the ability to be open during these troubling times. I work at a small family owned theater where the owner genuinely loves what he's doing. The theater is cheaper than any of the marcus ones and needs all the patronage it can get. I'd like to see him be successful than other chain theaters tbh.

The death of theaters was a natural progression. There is no reason to go out to watch a movie when at-home options are better and more easily accessible than going out just for the hell of it. This is one industry that really is not needed. We should focus out priorities on other things besides disgusting movie theaters.

I desperately hope that these studios dont kill theatres. I still love watching movies on giant screens with surround sound and my father or my wife sitting next to me. We only have one theatre in my town and I dont want to lose it. I dont want to lose the theatre experience.

But I feel its a good mid- point break from the stories he provides. Kinda slows it down just enough to let you digest everything, and then pick back up with more news. If you got bored of the "go around and kill titans" aspect of it, there's more to it than that. Whatever volumes the second and third seasons consist of definitely carry the show forward quite a bit

It sounds a bit dishonest, but on the base of voters and political cost in the long run it is insignificant to dodge a question than to get into a losing issue by being direct.

i’m an assistant manager at the Movie Theater in my home town in Texas and this move from HBO Max has already projected a big financial hurt for us. The pandemic already did cut down from us a lot from working less hours, having less pay roll to do anything, adding more work for us to do to keep a great open sanitized environment for everyone to suspending pay raises or promotions to happen because of loss of revenue we haven’t made. I love my job at the theater but this move HBO Max did was a straight slap to the face. I really do wonder how the theater industry is going to recover after all this that is happening...

I work at a small family owned theater where the owner genuinely loves what he's doing. The theater is cheaper than any of the marcus ones and needs all the patronage it can get. I'd like to see him be successful than other chain theaters tbh.

The death of theaters was a natural progression. There is no reason to go out to watch a movie when at-home options are better and more easily accessible than going out just for the hell of it.

Today in Awesome was always a really nice respite from the heavy news and tbh I miss it when it's not there. Helps remind me not everything is terrible
He recently said on his pod cast that he's slowly phasing it out and just making it a quick ad spot, that he doesn't feel it adds to the video.
But I feel its a good mid- point break from the stories he provides. Kinda slows it down just enough to let you digest everything, and then pick back up with more news.

@@EvieCorwell That's pretty early. The story has evolved quite a bit since then and I've heard it gets better during the finale. I'd say give it a watch if you don't want to read it. If you got bored of the "go around and kill titans" aspect of it, there's more to it than that. Whatever volumes the second and third seasons consist of definitely carry the show forward quite a bit
