Hello Alecia! Hope you are well! This week has been nuts, trying to do most of the things while time was flying quickly! I cannot project myself in goals that are longer than a year either, but it is because i try to live in the present. If you ask myself where I would be in five years, I will probably tell you that destiny must know what I don't... 😅All I know is I do my best to make things work for me. As a gamer (Yes, I do game with my hubbs and son), I sometimes take notes, but I don't put myself in a place where I feel pressured, I just do things step by step (Not a "Meta gamer" anymore haha, but been there in the past and at the end of the journey it wasn't worth it, was loosing my mind and being angry and not enjoying the game anymore...).🤓
Oh the stamp! I was saying "Nooooo, whyyyy???🥺" when you first stamped it and it was blank in the middle...
Here we're having some sunny days to come, and I am planning a travel for the start of next month... so much to do!☀

Every time you comment I say to myself "whew I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that!" It feels as though everyone has a 5-year plan stretching out in front of them. Sometimes I'm just trying to make it though the month (or the hour) and it's not easy to think of "Future Me" and what she wants. But that's something I can keep working out in my journal and keep writing letters to myself about, haha
What kinds of games do you play?? Yep I remember the days of looking up the best strategies and after a while it sucks all the joy out of playing the game and the company of the people you're playing with. Good life lessons there? 🤔
THE STAMP, whhhyyyyyy? Ah well, I've decided that:
a) it's modern art
b) each weekly spread is like a mandala. Each week it's "erased" and I can start fresh next time. Yeah, that's it...

Always loved fantasy in books/ reading, so that didn't helped to not fall in! 😜
I love stamps, but when they don't work well my ocd comes to reclaim perfectionism even tho I like imperfections because you can make cool things over them! 😑

What if the execution of the tasks that lead to you accomplishing your long term goal is enjoyable? Then you wouldn’t have to think about the goal 👍
🎶 I want it that way! 🎶 Totally agree with you Mona. I’m still fighting that hustle culture mentality, where you’re supposed to suffer for a long time and reap the rewards later. (But never truly enjoy the rewards because it makes you feel guilty to do so!) There is some sacrifice of course but logically I know it doesn’t have to be torture. What are your thoughts on how to make it more enjoyable? Asking for a friend…
@@AleciaLott Thank you for your answer, Alicia 🌷My best methods to enjoy work (some of them take some time): start small (tiny habits), be aware of what you are doing (mindfulness), track every small task (being proud of yourself), pay yourself for accomplished tasks and use the money for self care (reward), tell friends and family what you plan (commitment), tell them when you have done it (recognition / praise) and consistently remind yourself why you do it (motivation). Thank you for asking that, before I wrote that I didn’t realise I have so many techniques. Have a wonderful day 🥰
