As a Redskins fan, I would love to pick up that Doug Williams off of ya. As a graduate of FSU, that Sebastian Janikowski would look great graded in my PC. I learned years ago to collect the rare Seminoles, like 1/5 1/10's and s on, then get them graded and believe it are not, during football season college students gobble them all up.
I bought 3 boxes from topps way back when. The price was $259 each plus tax. I opened the first box and got 0 cj Stroud, 1 will levis, 3 bryce young, and 5 Richardson with 4 being paper. 2 of my autos were lineman and the 3rd was a sick patch auto Jamaal Charles. I immediately took the other 2 boxes to my local lcs and he gave me $700. Here's the thing. People are paying almost twice as much on licensed products with no chance of rookie qb autos. At least with this stuff you have a legit chance at that big hit

I liked the cards but I got 0 rookies, 100% retired players which I do like but not the whole box. Doubt much value. Autos were all O lineman, best # card was a Dan Marino to #29 of #49 which was cool. 43 of 199 Terrell Davis. A lot of the same players in the box on different cards. I've watched 3 Utube videos of ppl ripping a box and A LOT of the same cards I got even the refactors & inserts. I also noticed only 1 of the refractors said refactor on the card. It's a lot of $ for what u get! I saw 1 Utube guy pull a Sroud Auto. The cards are nice looking but your 100% right the price should be about half for what you get!
I paid 400. One shop has them 450. Also most are actually game worn. The way topps does it is the back will almost always say player worn. But you need to look on the front. Next to the memorabilia it was say game worn. That is IF it’s game worn of course.
True gamble, if you dont hit one of the QB Autos or a nice parallel these are like a terrible blaster. Just rough. I have not seen many good ones tbh. Happy 3 day weekend!

I have changed my process. No longer am i spending thousands on hobby boxes, instead I go to as many card shows, here in Florida as possible and watch guys buy hobby boxes, then I make deals on cards they don't want or like, just like the Doug William and Janikowski you pulled. Trust me, I have had more look buying newly pulled singles raw, then I have buying hobby boxes.
I think a hobby box is overkill. A mega isnless than 100 and blaster around 40 and the same base cards with the chance for an auto and same stuff found in hobby box. Ive seen several of these ripped and good pulls in mega and blaster
The only quality boxes are the breakers boxes and the prices are outrageous. A hobby was $250 from Topps. Now, nothing is affordable. All the big hits are in the breakers boxes.

I wish i got it for your price. I wasn't selected for any of the drops i entered, and by the time i found out, they were $400+ a box. I bought 3 and lit $1,300 on 🔥. 60+ rookie cards, 20 #'d most /50-/75 and autographs of linemen 🤦♂️. I did get double patch autos for tedy bruschi and boomer esiason, but that wont even pay for half a box. Way overpriced unless you hit a Brady or CJ. Topps did us dirty. These hobbiss prices are criminal
I traded in some stuff for 1 hobby and 4 megas... let me tell u the megas are so much better value. I got a /175 will levis auto /15 shaun alexander auto and a lynn dickey /25 auto from megas and a /10 black troy aikman. The hobby was ehhh 1 guy i never heard of auto irvin fyrar /175 auto and a earl campbell/20 patch auto. Id say 4 megas will give u as much if not more value.

Like the product. Really I've looking cards. I got a chance at the initial offering and the price was $290. Even at that price it's too high.
I ended up finding 2 blasters and 3 hangers at GameStop. Enjoyed ripping them.
