lol I went too hard with the goth style too quick. When I started burning up in the summer, I sat outside with a black umbrella and I got tons of awful stares. My mom was like “what the f*ck are you doing? People are staring?” And I said “whatever.” She still doesn’t understand my style.
If you ever want to turn something silver (or any other metallic color) because you're not fond of the original color, get some Rub n' Buff. Take a little on your finger and just kind of massage it into the metal, then hit it with some Krylon clear coat and it won't come off. I think Rub n' Buff is wax based (don't hold me to it though), so it doesn't really behave like paint, but it adheres to metal surfaces really well.
I often find great things at Halloween stores! I also keep little odds and ends like charms, small bits of chain, and strips of lace. Just made two necklaces out of random shit :3

With the tomb-stone pendant that's loosing its silver plate, you could get a few shades of mossy green metallic/shimmer nail-polish and a tiny bit of sponge or a stipple-brush and paint some "moss" so it looks like its enamel that is supposed be part of the design.
Shout out for Disturbed Doll! They are so nice, on top of having cool jewelry...I had to exchange something from them once and they were very kind and helpful. Also, have to say I found some fun, very inexpensive things at the "pop up" Halloween store that comes around every year for Halloween :)

When I was perhaps 4 years younger I Googled I think gothic clothing , and I stumbled upon "rivithead.com" it's not the cheapest but the quality is good and I'm yet to be dissapointed. Got my first pair of boots there ^.^. Anyway, love your videos. More, more.
