Great video and initiatives. I am hoping to have a small bed on a community garden with growing space and bigger plants as communal crops. I really enjoyed seeing the different initiatives your programme highlighted.
What a wonderful story of people making a difference in so many cities. I big smile came across my face just seeing the impact they are making! Thank you so much for this sharing!
Great video Joe and the team. Very impressive what is happening all across the country. I love the lady in Brooklyn talking about creating a new food distribution network. How awesome. I started a farmers market at my small lake town and the community has been very supportive. Now everyone can purchase fresh, local, organically grown produce in their neighborhood. Everyone can play a part. Thanks again!
Yes it’s very important to people to get back in the garden or something it’s not only good for eating and looking at it also helps with your mental state
Wow, Franklin Park Conservatory is just 20 minutes away from my home, and I've been there many times (such a beautiful place to garden...). I had no idea that the American Community Garden Association has made a home there. I'll be in touch, as I'm trying to start a community garden here in Grove City, Ohio. Thank you! Nancy
Our outside temperature, in my zone 5a, is 15⁰ F right now and dropping. I guess that winter has arrived whether I'm ready or not! Joe, this gardening movement is very inspiring thanks for sharing! It's wonderful to see community gardens popping up in cities across the nation. Aquaponic gardening intrigues me, I need to research it more then start growing some food inside during the winter.
This is exactly what I want to do! I knew there are others out there doing the same thing. This is at first one of my ideas that until now I thought about in myself. But I knew that it's highly likely not true that I may have come up with a original idea. Yes but no. So this is a good example of something I would love to join. Or create in my own community. But again I don't think I'm the first to think of it. How could I start, my own idea, without stealing someone else's idea or someone stealing mine. I want to help along with learn. How can I make this happen?
In the different states you talk about in this episode., What kind of insect pests problems do they have in the spring and summer.., compare to Zone 9 southeast louisiana. Just curious......JOHN M.
Just beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️ People Together 🌱❤️

I have always dreamed of ending my days with a partner and living a wonderful world in the middle of a garden
Tak skal du have
We want to start this in inkster. ..need help
Sheeesh now everyone wants to plant plants, rather than spending money on stuff from the grocery store-.-
Anyone who has been to the grocery store lately can explain why
Me at home: trying to revive my dead plants*
Them: everything grows*
Always giving a black people a freebie
What does that mean???
