- The BISSELL PROheat is a popular deep cleaning floor cleaner.
A thorough way to deep clean and protect your carpet:
6 deep cleaning rows DirtLifter® Powerbrushes remove deep down dirt
Built-in Hot water heater for MAXIMUM cleaning
Ready to use hose cleans tough stains, stairs and upholstery
Mine’s 10 years old and still works. For those who can’t get water to come out the bottom - it needs a thorough clean with a needle through the ports at that point. Once it’s ungummed and you can use it again, run 2 tanks of plain hot water through it into the bathtub after every use. It cleans all the ports so it’s perfectly clean for next use.
Thank you for the tip! Gave them a poke and a squirt of compressed air and the formula now appears to be flowing again. Much obliged!
Had similar problem after lending too a friend. I emailed Bissell, received a timely response with instructions on how to troubleshoot/fix. Since I didn't have the time, I took to a local repair shop and they got it working like new. I've had my Bissell about 15yrs and still loving it.
I'm glad I found this video because I have been using my bissel wrong since I bought it

wild man 😭😭😭😂 hilarious but I understand
wild man lol lol right me to 😂😂😂😂
Hello everyone! I just used it today and it does work! The man in this video is giving us the wrong directions! You are supposed to HOLD the trigger while pushing to let out the cleaning solution and RELEASE when pulling away to that the heat can dry the clean area you just covered. Do it this way and it should work :)
+Babycharlie23 No, you DO indeed push the button on the backward motion as the video says. I have one, my friends have one and directions all same the same as this video.
+Carol Shaffer No , it is the other way around. lol
+Carlos Elias no, the instructions say 2 wet passes (1 foward and 1 backward holding the trigger), then 2 dry passes (1 foward and 1 backward without holding the trigger) and repeating dry passes without holding the trigger until no more water is seen through nozzle.
Trust me this is the correct method.
I will share the how to deep clean vid direct from Bissell on Google+.
At 1:00 it says push the trigger to spray. First forward pass pushes the cleaning solution. Pulling back without pushing the trigger sucks up the dirty water. As all carpet shampooers typically work this way.... Even the professional Rug Doctor.
ha ha, you give me such chuckles...honestly...
I had mine for years.Made it through many uses and 2 puppies at different times. Never had an issue at all. I gave it away at one point and now I have went and bought another one. Great product for the money. Just follow the directions and carpets will look great.Make sure you take care of it.Clean the brushes and rinse it out really well. It should last a long time.

I have had mine for years & it works great even today. Not sure why many of yours don't work? Not cleaning it properly after use maybe?
This machine works very well. Once. Then it doesn't suck or spray water. Need to fix this.
Everyone forgets to clean the lint screen where the suction comes from
I love my pro heat bissell ❤️
this product works pretty good the water tank could be a little bigger tho.
What is the model number for this cleaner? The clear plastic shield that sucks the water up broke and I need a new one but cant fnd the model number?!?!
Oh Yeah, let's go time to start cleaning my damn carpet!
This video is great but you left out where to find the power button the machine. Probly an important thing to include
I can't figure out why it won't dispense the water from the bottom 😢
Can I use this vacuum on hard wood floors

I purchased mine from a pawn shop, and I've had no trouble with mine, thank God. I just keep it clean from all the dog hair. I think it works pretty good for me to get it from the pawn shop. Not sure how long it's gonna hold up. So far so good.

It is a great product if you take care of it. I had mine for year and years. Finally gave it away. Now my new house has carpets so I bought another.
7 years later, is it still working?
How much water do I put in the water tank. There's no fill line that I can see??
this is funny... I am trying to figure out how to fix my Bissell Pro Heat as it no longer sucks up water, and look what I came across. It appears Im not the only one with issues concerning this product. I wonder if Bissell checks this page and ever reaches out to its customers with a solution or assistance or even a "Hey sorry I know the product sucks" lol I suppoe I should have done my research before buying one. There are alot of sites with people like us. Thanks Bissel
+Sheryl Ann Which model are talking about, there are so many? I want one of these but I think I am going with the 25a3w.

I just had this problem and changed the belts., roller spins, but, now the water doesn't come out.
I have an older model with a round red slot that says filter which lies under where you place water tank: is this to clean an internal filter? 2. lost suction while cleaning carpet any idea as to what I may have done. Thank you in advance for reviewing my concerns. Mary
Think I found the problem cracked suction nozzle.😞

I really like the girl in this video. Maybe one day I can meet her. I wish. The music makes this very enjoyable to watch too.

فين احصل مثل هذه في جدة
is this the 8910 model?
Curtisa Ware 8920
Would be nice to know how to remove the front clear plate to clean the dog hair out!!!
That's what I'm trying to find out right now.
That's what I'm trying to find out right now.
Perry Whitney you probably should vacuum your carpet first to pick up pet hair and then use the carpet cleaner
See the part that looks like its sticking out? hold that and pull out and down. It will come off and you can clean it. There are clear hooks underneath the front.
Noele Sewell it still gets trapped because the plastic part is hollow....at least my model's is hollow. Oh, and I vacuum my carpet 2x per week and my cat's hair is stuck in my carpet cleaner. The vacuum simply doesn't get it all.😕
All replies from people that didn't read the instructions first. Classic.
Lmao I would read them if I had them but I got mine from my parents cuz they never rlly used it and they lost the instructions 😂
@@Ren-kp4tz Haha I got mine from my parents, too
Can I clean my sofa also?
I was wondering the samething
Como limpiar o destapar manera del agua
Unit will not spray cleaning solution after one year of use.
Why is the vacuume not cleaning
Who sells it in rsa or namibia
How do you connect the hose
It should connect where the dial is
in the water tank. There is this red plastic thing...what the heck is it for? I've tried placing it in the tank a bunch of different ways. Its a red plastic thing in a weird shape. Not very long. It some how got dislodged to its proper place where it should be. Its almost in the shape of an 'L' and looks quite wonky.
Colin Fletcher supposed to be wonky, it’s the tank full float lever for the dirty water - if this is not open, it won’t pick up the dirty water
There is a hole in the top of the tank the right side that it fits in its a filter
Or it's the full indicater
mine quit after 2 uses.
OMG you guys are soo right-what a piece of crap- we should do a class action suit!
I held the trigger and it didn't suck up any water at all.
the trigger releases water
Matt Focker OH, so that's why. Thank you.
Matt Focker
I have a mouse in the house and that's hiding by my bed. Omg.
The best thing for this unit to prevent problems is not to use Bissell cleaning solution. Mine jammed up. The service place I took it to said to stay away from it. I bought a different one from them and VOILA, no more jam ups. That was over a year ago.
voila is a terrible brand
Anyone here know how to get the spray from the bottom to work? Mine has stopped and yes it was AFTER I bought Bissell solutions. Every DIY video is for the older machines and not this one.
Noele Sewell u
How do you turn it on
Red on/off pedal on the bottom next to the gray handle release pedal. Mine also has an on/off switch on the side for the heater.
It won't turn on! What should I do?
It put water and solution into the carpet just fine. However it didn't suck it up well, leaving me with a very wet carpet of dirty water. Not much water left in the tank and it was dirty. Also it left a dirty mark every time I paused. I think a cleaner with separate clean water and dirty water tanks would be much better. Not pleased with this cleaner.
Cheryl Heppner it's not gonna make it fully dry how what are we talking
P
Make sure the clear piece is on right
I've used this no more than 3 times and now the water dispenser is not working. :-(
Just let anyone know that it is 2020 and my machine is about 3 years old and I am having problems with water flowing and cleaning carpet
I am came You Tube to get some ideas but...I understand. A dysfunctional shampoo machine.
Brush want turn
can you buy belts for bissell shampooer proheat/
yes you have to buy them from Bissell.com they are cheap.
I don't just use bissell cleaner
I wrote the company and they said they would contact me back with in 24 hours well it has passed and not a word from the company. I figured it
Troubleshooting steam not
I don't see any water getting to my carpet, so I'm thinking it might be wasted money.
Before I use this bissell , i vacuum with other dry vacuum.
😂😂😂
I use it today it does not clean al all.
I would not buy a Bissell again. After only a 1 1/2 yrs use the water will not spray out of the unit
Bad product
Mine, too!!
Mines too ,on and off .
I could have told you that anything Bissell sucks !
**ATTENTION ATTENTION***
TO ALL THOSE WHO ALWAYS ASK HOW TO CLEAN OUT THE DOG HAIR THAT IS COLLECTED WHEN SHAMPOOING(YES EVEN AFTER VIGOROUSLY VACUUMING PRYOR)
Please read below for the EASIEST AND HONESTLY ONLY SOLUTION there should be for this issue. Thanks and hope it helps.
I realize this is a reply to an OLD POSTED QUESTION. But just in case people are curious as to clean out the hair that gets collected over time(Yes there is still hair even if you vacuum VERY VERY WELL) anyways if your shampooing machine didn’t come with a long this device(Kinda like a ruler) then try and find and use something similar in thickness and flexible. Then all you need to do is lightly run water in the slot while sliding that thin device collecting all the hair until it is all gone and back to normal. I hope this resolved everyone’s (HOW DO I CLEAN THE (VACUUM/SUCTION OUTER PLASTIC PIECE OF ALL THE HAIR) Questions that I always see in these residential style shampooers.
bought this 2 yrs ago and it worked the first 2 times we used it.....the last 3 times we TRIED to use it, it wouldn't release water. Huge disappointment; will think before buying a Bissell product again.
I've used a bissel for the last 3 years would not by any other brand only thing I dont like about this machine that I let my family go to the beach why I stay home an clean carpet
Ewww what's up with all these nasty people dumping out the dirty water in the kitchen sink
don't worry about a thing bud. I blocked him
Goes both ways. You will get banned too. Look at all your comments. lol
I used mine twice and it died . POS
worse product ever spent my $ on
that's rude
it was a harsh review
fine
Norbert Miller looking for a parts list
Bissei pro heat is junk
Thing is a piece of shit. Ive only used it once or twice and it has stopped working all together. Im about to haul it out to the curb.
Not to be argumentative but they are unstoppable and easy to fix
Just take your time and look at all the parts and you will find out what you have done wrong
This video did not help at all learn how to use it
Do not buy!!! Save your money and rent a machine.
