The amount of detail in this kit is amazing. I cannot even imagine the time that went into designing all of that. Just beautiful. The extra things that you added really took it to the next level. Especially the resin "water." Thank you for sharing.
I'm already analyzing how I can justify getting this kit! One miniatures kit is on my table and I have another book nook coming in next. You explain and demonstrate the intricacies of this build very, very well. I know that if any particular area gives you a bit of trouble, then I must prepare myself with a calmer mind and steadier hands.
Great video! I'd love to see the bathhouse operating without any background music or voiceover -- I've heard the motor on this brand's other moving scene kits is either very loud or prone to breaking down/sticking. Regardless, this video's really well done and helpful.
I have almost completed this kit. I have concerns about the movement of the gears which seem to be very hinky. They stick and jam up and that is before letting the motor run them. Did you use any kind of lubricant?
did you find the motor to be very loud? theres videos from the train model and the motor is uncomfortably loud :( Also, does the light inside kind of look like a fire is rushing through the building? From the video it looks too much, not nice like flickering lantern. Would love to know your thoughts :D
These kits typically don't but the instruction booklets are very easy to follow. I also use these RUclips videos when parts of a build become a bit tricky.
I'm already in the middle (well, not actually the middle 😏) of putting this thing together and yeah, I can tell it's going to take me at least a week or longer (only doing a few hours a day). I think I'm past some of the most difficult parts of putting the gears assembly together for the bathhouse paper scene and moving pipes. (That was a pain in the anus!) My concern is when you actually turn the thing on and if it will all move/work correctly. It seems like those little wooden gears might break under the strain of moving all the different pieces. Did you experience any problems in this or have the same concerns?
It's nice if you are skilled enough to correct all the mistakes of the kit by yourself. There are missing pieces (17x pc no. 84 instead of 18x - it's missing on all review videos, even this one), many many mislabellings and little mistakes in the manual (also in the digital "improved" manual), the prints are sometimes offset, and you need paint to brush over pieces after deburring them. It would be okay for a set of 50-70$ but 160-190$ is way too much for a kit of this quality level. Great video though, and great idea with the resin.
For some reason your videos haven’t popped up on my feed for years, and I forgot how relaxing they are to watch! This is such a cool kit 😊
Love the extra personalized finishing touches with acrylic paint and resin for the water really stand out
I feel like you’re building the boiler room and I can picture Kamaji pulling all the cranks and levers.
EXACTLY what I was thinking ❤

You did an amazing job with this kit. I love the little extra details you added with the paint and water. Thanks for sharing, Kat!
I did think Spirited Away when I saw this. Absolutely beautiful.

Oh absolutely! I always allow myself to step away from a project if it gets frustrating and come back with a fresh perspective
Wow, this looks so awesome 👏
I just love Japanese related things and this was a good one 🥰
I’m jealous of all the extra bits and bobs you get to add to your materials boxes to make more cool stuff.
Hi Cath, you did an excellent job of narrating and editing the video of this very complicated kit. Awesome Sauce!
Thanks so much! It was so many hours of footage 🙃
Wow....just wow!!! It definitely looks like the bath house from Spirited Away!!!!! I love that movie!!
Me too! One of my favorites ❤️
Incredible!! Love your work!
Incredible masterpiece.
Omg!!! It looks amazing
Thus is sooo cool! So complex omg. Really beautiful ❤
Wow, it is gorgeous!!!
I’ve seen “Spirted Away” several times, but haven’t watched it for almost years
amazing kit. i'd love to get it, but it's too expensive for me right now. one day, maybe. great video, as well.
Very beautiful. Some green trees will really pop against the red in the buildings.
I think you’re right! I’d love to add some realistic greenery around the buildings
This looks so complex!

Very pretty 😀
Wowsers!! 😮
So excited❤

Wow, its too complicated for me as always Kat you have done an amazing job.

❤ I love how you add a little of your own touches.
Great 💗💗
너무 멋집니다 ❤❤❤
*What SCALE is this kit?*
I believe it’s comparable to half(1/2) scale, although I have seen some newer kits that look like they are micro (1/144) scale.
Fantástico!!
I absolutely love it except for the blue base. It just doesn’t feel like it fits in. I would change that if I built it.
I completely understand that- it’s a bit too bright for me. How would you change it?
It reminds me so much of the music scenes in the end of the Entertainment District arc in Demon Slayer! It's so beautiful!!
Do they have the instructions in English as well ?
