- Travelled Cebu City to try delicious street food in Cebu Philippines! Went via 2GO MV Maligaya back to Manila.
Previous video I went to Lapu-Lapu City and in this video is the second part of Cebu street food exploration. Headed to Pungko-Pungko in Fuente, Cebu. Pungko-pungko is where you are seated on benches with a table full of fried food). The vendor will offer a wide selection of fried food ranging from lumpia (spring rolls which can be made of meat or vegetables), longganisa (sausage), fried chicken, buwad (dried fish), utok (brain), crab meat, fried pork and the best-seller ginabot (chicharon bulaklak) with puso on the side. These crispy dish are usually paired with cold Sparkle or Mountain Dew.
Also tried the fruit slices such as papaya, green mango, guava and singkamas around Colon. It is usually dipped in spicy salt and vinegar.
Also passed through strings of carinderia at P.Lopez Street located near Gaisano Metro and Colon Street. They serve many Filipino food such as Lechon Kawali, Crispy Fried Chicken, Fried fish, Calamari, Ginabot (pork intestines), Balbacua, Tinolang Isda (Fish Stew), Nilagang Baka (Beef Stew), Humba, Utan Bisaya (Cebuano mixed vegetables).
Checked out also the food around Colon Obelisk where some cooked meals and tuslob btuwa are found. Saw how they prepare and cook tuslob btuwa and you dip the peso at the mixture.
Strolled around Cebu City to check their museums, tourist spots and the new CCLEX bridge.
Found some siomai in Tisa and ate some Filipino Food at Gerry’s Grill in Cebu IT Park.
Finally went back to Manila and sailed via ship in 2GO MV Maligaya. They have nice meals and amenities. Also good bed and the trip was smooth sailing.

That first restaurant, is that like a sit in all you can eat type of place? Or like do they charge as you eat, and what you eat?
charge as you eat :)
You have to memorize what you ate and drank. Honesty is the best policy!
