Coldheart can create ionic traces while doing precision damage, so it’s a very good weapon for an arc build
Ya that’s what I use, it is a very strong build
It uses a exotic slot though, voltshot can be rolled on a legendary therefore making it a better choice so you can use a exotic heavy instead. Xeno, ghorn, thunder lord and any other decent heavy that's a exotic can be used.
Not to say it's not a good choice, if it works for you rock it. Personally I'd use voltshot though.
i also found that coldheart works extremely well with this build too!
I use Crown of Tempest and it works super good too!
If you use getaway artist, you can get sentinal souls which are stronger and still have access to the blink aspect.
No reason to do that lightning surge aint the best in pve and u miss out on giving others arc souls for dps and normal arc souls also give back energy for your nade
I don’t think that’s required anymore. The improved arc soul is acquired anytime you are amplified. Getaway artist just allows you to become amplified and have arc soul on demand.
Not as practical in PvE, but still a good exotic.

I used trinity ghoul with catalyst. Same idea as this but man, the AOE is insane

The Pokemon sounds are so good for the ability pop ups, I never thought I needed to hear them when it comes to looking for a good subclass build

Yes they are almost the same. Fallen Sunstar also has the benefit of recharging your teammates abilities

Bungie should really buff the risk runner and this would pair well
my idea for this would be as follows:
"while amplified gain resistance to arc damage, become amplified when hit with arc damage, while amplified, damage from this gun jolts targets, and bullets that hit arc debuffed targets are returned to the magazine"
Delicate Tomb is extremely underrated for build like this, free overload stun, better voltshot, more ad clear. Just gun to use.
Could you make an arc warlock build without fallen sunstar?
I have asked left and right about an arc build and the only answer i get is "coldheart + sunstar".
I'm sure there's more that can be done with this subclass than one single combination.
If leaks are correct, Vesper of Radius is going to be good in Arc builds next season. I can definitely make an Arc build around those during Season 21
@@LudusLivethere will be also a Chromatic fire rework: after precision kinetic kill all nearby enemies receive elemental blow and subclass verb debuff: for arc it will be blink, so this can be very effective thanks to primary weapons buffs
Stag is good all around, crown is good but only for solo content otherwise you might not be able to kill enough stuff for the x3 regen

I made my own arc build similar and all my abilities recharge fairly fast as long as there are ads

at this point I'm just using geomags
Why not use riskrunner? Would slap with this build.
You would need to switch to storm nades to self proc, but its great too, although you can just use t ghoul

How does it handle unstoppables, overpowered and barriers?
Overloads get stunned with jolt, so a nade can take care of them, and if you use the blinding nade, unstopables are stunned when blinded, so for barrier tske arbalest or wish ender and thats it

You can get the helmet from daily legend or master lost sectors

U need to finish the beyond light for stasis and finish lightfall for strand

It's the same or even more effective if there are so many enemies, but in harder content it is more important to get your grenade back on 2-3 kills and casting a rift (with crown you need to stack kills and it can be hard if there's no redbar enemies)
