Usually throw barbs put 1 point into frenzy for IAS bonus from stacks. And it's usually a "stab a couple of times and then throw". Since there won't be much points to fully invest into both ranged and melee skills, because you know, a barb without BO is like a soldier without his rifle, it's better to give a 1-point wonder into frenzy and melee masteries, bulk up throwing, maybe BO and get some points into new Grim ward as universal damage boost and crowd control.
Pseudo frenzy throwing barb with the new A5 merc would be pretty fun. More gear options to deal with physical immunes. Slap on azurewrath or lawbringer on your merc and slap on lacerators or gimmershreds on yourself.
Dont know why the mana cost 2 is there - Double swing for example goes slowly down until it becomes 0, so maybe that can be useful. Double throw with Frenzy charged up and you become a living machine gun hahaha
How about some information regarding the modifiers on the weapons? Is the deadly strike from warshrike used for the 2nd other weapon too? Same for pierce or ctc. I wonder about that for long now :)
I made a pretty cool corpse explosion barbarian with dual bonehews on swap, using grimward for the physical damage increase and an infinity merc for negative fire res. Use berserk to get the first couple of corpses. The skill isnt quite perfectly tuned yet,I wish theyd get rid of the flee mod and the corpse requirement,and the awful skill synergy-maybe move the synergy to find item or pretty much anything but find potion lol.
