Love the push Ian’s getting. Good dude, clearly prepares for his guests and asks questions with substance. The only slight adjustment he’ll learn is that often times during the guests answer he’s preparing the next question and will therefore miss parts if the guest’s answer. Every now and then they’ll have to repeat the same info. All in all, it’s not an often experienced scenario and he’s becoming more polished and more skilled right before our eyes. Salute Ian!

I totally get his points on moving a 13 year old. I moved when my son was 13 and he was mad at me until he had his child last year at 26 years old. I took him out of an area that I saw becoming rougher than I wanted my kids to grow up with. We moved to a military town, so most of the kids were used to being the new kid so it wasn't that big of a deal to them. My son lost his ever living mind; however, after becoming an adult and moving back "home" he apologized to me after seeing many of his friends that he had back then on drugs, dead or in jail. I had my reasons and I did it because I'm a good mom, but dang, my child was so angry with me.

I think your guests are well chosen but its your interview technique that actually gets the best out of them because your one of only a few that will ask a question and then let the person actually answer without interuptions. You prompt every now and then to bring focus or to expand a good point and it really works for you.
You dont make it about you which so many other channels do.
Thats why your channel has grown so quickly my man.

How would I describe this session? Well structured, fluid, on point, and very well organized. Ian, is a superb interviewer. As others have pointed out, he doesn't interrupt his guests. He measures what he asks and waits for a response. I have taken two counseling and interviewing courses and one group counseling class, and Ian, without a doubt would be an excellent counselor. He also knows how to unfold the interview by asking his guests for their brief biography.

This dude started with him for no reason, I was the bouncer. I was talking to Damien and the dude walked out, came back in Damien leveled him right at the front door. This was 2017 or 16. Him and this other dude were chasing him around the bar lol. His buddy fell and literally tore his knee to shit and he wasn't a small dude and he had parked his truck on the far side next to the restaurant next door, pouring rain, I literaacarried the dude put him in the truck and he went right to hospital and surgery. The dude Damien punched came in the next night black eyes and kissed Damien ass so bad. He fkd with the wrong dude. DAMIEN WHATS UP BRUTHA!!!!!!! Been watching these Springfield episodes and glad my parents made the choice when they did to move to FL. I'm only a year and a half older than Damien here. My paternal family was involved in a lot of these groups, booking etc. And I could see where one of us could have ended up getting into this part of life from the area. I'm going home again in late September to visit family.
If I gave my maiden name to all these guys, they would all say, yeah, we know so and so. Some are still involved. It's scary in Springfield. He speaks 💯 truth when it comes to family. We DO NOT mess around. We will do anything and everything for our family.
Some areas are cleaned up from back in the day, but one wrong turn and you're in the wrong neighborhood. You look straight and don't look anyone in the eyes.
When going to Smittys bar you really didn't look but forward. That was back in late 90's early 2000's.

He's going to give u his hard luck story and ask your audience to help when he literally...well let him tell you...his last 3 weeks of wtf lives speak for themself...you know what, maybe I shouldn't say but u doin big things and that train wreck don't need to hit your train track for real
