Thanks for this. Just ordered a new mouse+dongle bundle to connect w an existing keyboard and kept hearing you needed to install certain drivers to make everything work -- glad to know it's very no-fuss
Hello, do you know how many keys can be pressed at once? I read about keyboard ghosting, and someone in an article said over 2 keys can be pressed at once, but i am unsure if it's more than 2 or under 2. I wanna use this for old school fps games but if i can't press multiple keys i don't think i could use it
i got this keyboard randomly someone left it to give out. I put in batteries and pressed the on switch and the green light battery symbol came up. It didn't have a receiver so I went to Staples and bought a Logitech USB receiver. Seems it doesn't connect, because it wasn't working. I even tried to press the power button and nothing happened. I guess it doesn't work, or I have no idea how to connect since there is no manual provided. The receiver shows up in bluetooth connected devices but the keyboard does not type
Try to "factory reset the keyboard"... Turn the power button off then Pres ESC + O, ESC + O, ESC + B. You should get some lights flashing on the keyboard and then when it's done turn it back on and pair it. Most likely it is still paired with its original hub whoever had it before you. Basically like trying to connect to a wifi network when you go somewhere else unless you tell it Hey were here now, it keeps looking. Let me know if that solves the issue. Thanks for watching. Please give it a thumbs up and subscribe if you haven't already.
I recently bought the K350 at a surplus sale (just the keyboard, no mouse) and I love the keyboard but I cant figure out where the dongle fits in the keyboard! I remember having to search to find the dongle in the keyboard initially, but I've forgotten where it went so I can't put my dongle away somewhere safe. Do you know where in the keyboard the dongle goes?
I am 99% sure it goes in the mouse either beside the batteries or under if not the other 1% sure that it is under or beside the batteries in the keyboard. lol Hope that helps let me know if my memory serves me well.
@@RagerJackOfAll unfortunately I don't have the mouse as I got the keyboard secondhand. I've checked the battery compartment in the keyboard (even removed the batteries) and can't find a spot within the keyboard itself to store it
@@ashyboo74 I just got back home checked mine it is inside the mouse, just a little a little square hole beside the batteries. I looked in my keyboard there is no place in the keyboard.
yeah you at least need a reciever for the keyboard bc the computer won't detect it otherwise. i found this out trying to connect my dad's old keyboard w/out having the mouse or dongle
No I never really messed with it after I hooked it up. The main features like the Music key opens up Media Player, the volume up and down automatically configured, the play, pause, ff buttons automatically worked and the calculator key worked. What did not configure by itself was the zoom or the settings buttons. I did find that you can download a tool from Logitech: www.logitech.com/en-us/software/options.html With that you should be able to map your keys and mouse. Please let everyone know if it works or not. Thank you for watching.
Bluetooth is on automatically, make sure you plugged the "Dongle" into your computer. If you haven't done that will not connect. If you haven't seen it open the mouse battery compartment, there is a little storage pocket there for the "Dongle". Once you plug that in, the mouse and keyboard will automatically detect.
Why thank you for watching and dropping a comment to help out the analytics. Tip for you, if your going to talk s#it about someone you can't look more stupid than them. You don't type with all capital letters, it does not hurt anybody's feelings, you don't use ... unless there is an etc... in front of it, and you end a sentence like "He mumbles the entire video" with a. Thanks for pointing out imperfections and again boosting my analytics for commenting. I have about 300 more videos need critiquing, please get on them and point out my issues. Last but least there are no such things as Unicorns or Santa Clause.
@@RaZhanBreonna Thank you for dropping a comment and sticking up for me. I'm pretty tough skinned you have to be to post anything on RUclips. I don't get many "negative" comments but they usually expose their own weaknesses when they do. Thank you again.
