The panelists’ statements regarding the influence of faith (presumably religious faith) somewhat undermine their earlier statements on a commitment to the scientific process. It would have been nice to hear a clarification that the work of FAIR is in no way based on or dependent on religious faith, and that everyone who cares about truth and justice should get involved.

I would disagree. (I presume you're referring to comments made @47:35 and @1:09:45 .) Woke-ism does appear to be a substitute religion for people who have become secularised, based on the moral capital of a historically Christian West while distorting and subverting those values. This is why wokesters can 'believe in anything'. (I'd elaborate but YT censorship algorithms would vaporise this comment.)
There's no reason to suppose the panelists' religious faith interferes with or undermines 'the scientific process' in any way.

It could… it depends on how fundamental they are.
I take it that you think religious people can’t be “good scientists.” Please tell me if I’m mischaracterizing you.
There are an immense about of questions out there that aren’t amenable to the scientific method. There are other types knowledge besides scientific that are very useful like historical and spiritual
