I think that unless an entire song is a blatant copy I don't think they have any trouble having a similar riff to another song. No musician can copyright a small part of a song unless it's actually from the song and passes a timed threshold.

Bro I was going to hunt for the Mystical Stick in Mother 3 and I decided to put this music on while hunting for it.
First Heftyhead I defeated:
"You got a Mystical Stick! "
Legit that has happened to me on my first playthrough of Mother 3.
I remember being surprised by it, and just saying something along the lines of: "HOW?! HOW THE HELL DID I GET A MYSTICAL STICK ON THE FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH A HEFTYHEAD?!"

This song, by inference, would play when the player character in Oddity spars with a foe, more specifically, a "clueless foe," hence the song name. FireMayro here implies that they, in fact, are also clueless, which should align with many 21st century jokes revolving around self-detriment.
