      What's up with the frame rate? Is that a capture issue or does the game run at 2 frames per second? Also this is a old video how is the performance of the game now?

      @@Cold_Cactus A few reasons, I was running the game and OBS on a laptop at the time and my settings werent tweaked as I was just starting out. So the output was poor and I couldnt even stay in a multiplayer game. Poor Mazer was suffering with these outcomes.

    if your fleet can beat TF-ash in an AI v AI match then it is finally worthy

      Im glad you like them. Next one is a quick run through off each component you can put on a ship so you can see stats and all the options in game for ship building. Will take a few more days, I want to add in a visual for those that have one.

    Not done with the video yet but I do know that while the berthing and ammo are only 1³ in size, the bigger room they get put into, the more of the effect it is supposed to give you. Hence the (9x) next to it. Not sure if its just minimal but for me its very noticeable but not for your first mention oddly enough

    question ,.. since all ships are sensor locked , would it be a benefit not to mount bullseye on the bigger ships ,.. instead mounting an additional gun and leave detection to a smaller dedicated scout
    p.s. jusyt got game havenmt played it yet sti9ll working through our series first ,.. well done by the way very well put together .
    earned my sub.

      The bullseye will give you a target lock and remove positional error so your shots will be more accurate. The Sensors are how easy you can be spotted.

      Bullseye doesn’t spot targets. Only locks them. Parallax locks and senses and doesn’t use a hardpoint.

      How so in terms of the carrier ship type? Like when carriers are added or building a support fleet to assist others?

    do you know if theres plans to add the ability to construct your ship hulls from the ground up or are we sticking to just prefabricated hulls?

      Just prefab hulls. There is no plans to do Highfleet style ship building.

      @@Cydonia111 yeah the guys making the expanse mod (piss map) are very friendly. There are guys who hang out on the official discord (which I would strongly recommend)

      @@J.W.-is8oj Good question. They perform two different functions. The frontline is a search radar and will be able to detect targets that will enable the bullseye (a fire control radar) to lock onto, increasing the accuracy to fire upon and more resistant t o losing the track through jamming. A bullseye on its own wont be able to detect targets.

      @@JDeeGaming Maybe this is why I haven't been able to kill anything with missiles? I've tried to use missiles even spending all 3k points on one ship with only missiles, and 0 damage done...You need the fire control radars to accurately hit things? I tried with various tips on the missiles, EO, Anti Rad, etc. But they all either get blown up by PD or miss.

      @@J.W.-is8oj You dont specifically need a bullseye radar for missiles to work. Can be good if you are using command guided missiles as they are reliant on you maintaining vision on the track. Im not a good at missiles over the last year myself. From what I can see from good strikes in replays etc is hitting in unconventional angles, multiple angled strikes, or letting something else do damage to larger ships before you fire your missiles in to get the most effective use. Most small ships should die to missiles on a full salvo.

      Yes you can. You can change the Prefix (the ANZ) of the Ship and the colour scheme.

      The very very very first iteration of the game had it like space engineers almost, dev didnt have fun making his own ships to test with. So scrapped it and went with the current model.

    When I saw " _Build your own ship_ ", I expected to actually, be able to build my own ship.
    Not " _add stuff, to existing ship-designs_ ".
    But I guess that's where some heavy modding gets involved instead 🤔

      Initially the game was built by block and you ran wires and pipes etc (sort of Space Engineersish). The dev scrapped that when he didnt enjoy building fleets to test his own game.
