Just wanted to say I've been looking into getting a 2011 Range Rover Sport Supercharged and I've watched a considerable amount of videos about them, this has to be the best of them all. Really love how DeAndre knows his stuff and was super informative the entire time. Along with the random pulls from the driver throughout the video and seeing DeAndre crack a smile cuz thats his f'n machine... Good job guys, I'm definitely gonna buy one.
I have the same car... it’s awesome guys, I have done 100k miles on it and it never broke down on me, only for the suspension once had to spend like $3300 on it, other than that it’s just regular oil change n stuff . Fun drive!!

4.2 V8 was a Jag engine, the more reliable, earlier version of the 5.0 your current car operates. The way your buddy is driving the 5.0 would be ready for replacement by 95k miles.
Sorry my man but it will not get 650-700hp with those mods, I had my 12 supercharged sport, res delete, borla exhaust, custom dual cold air intakes, tune, smaller pulley and I made 520whp, was much quicker, so crank power would be close to 600, but didn’t want to push anymore because was worried about the driveshaft or transferase breaking due to the trq and the weight of the truck, sold it a few months back and got my 15 rrsc hse. Post updates of your mods!! 👍🏼
I bought a 2011 Range Rover sport for 21k with 70k miles (160 k km) in 2022 for 21,000. I fucking love this thing man. It’s so nice and comfortable to drive
@@aliwarraich5332 Hey yes it has. Air suspension is working nicely and engine is mint. So far I haven’t spent any additional money on it. I seriously love how it looks and drives… it’s a luxury truck to it’s bones. I am probably going to get it’s timing chain replaced in another 15k km as Land Rover recommend getting it replaced at 160km. If your on the fence about getting it, I would highly recommend! Avoid the supercharged.
@@jays5926 I am currently looking at a 2012 supercharge version with 149000 kms on it why avoid supercharge can you please explain and did you ask dealer for timing chain cost should be 5k to 8k
@@aliwarraich5332 I got quoted 3200 for the service (from a private garage). I did a general inspection myself and the belt looks good (no wear and tear on it) but I personally don’t want to take the risk. I think the Lr3s have solid engines for the most part (including the supercharged) . If you are considering getting it , i would recommend doing the belt on it at the mileage especially if your getting it for a good price. Another thing you wanna look out for is the air suspension. Inspect the vehicle by raising it and “airing it out” . You will see the vehicle raise and drop . Range rovers get a bad rep primarily due to their air suspensions.
@@jays5926 yes will be checking the air suspension and owner claims he has done the timing chain already but I am waiting for him to get me the invoice to verify but thanks for your help i will find out next week

@@sammatchett6014 like 6000lbs is 2tons lol
@sammatchett6014 or he could hit 700 hp with a pulley (even with dual), exhaust, and a tune. Those things bump it up to like 600 at the crank
