A few people have pointed out that Harajukucore isn't a genre name per se, but a self imposed classification Hanabie gave themselves referencing the Harajuku fashion scene as far as I understand it currently. Apologies for assuming it was the genre for multiple bands, I'll be better about learning those kinds of specifics in the future!
Nemophila is a band formed by musicians from different bands. They are all excellent musicians. They can do whatever genre they want, mayu has a rich voice to sing many kinds of music, and they do many different styles in their music.i recommend《adabana》as the next!🤘🏻🌸🤘🏻
Thanks for this reaction. I don't know if someone mentioned it, but this band started up just before pandemic. They made that an opportunity and started making covers of another famous bands in various styles, uploading them to their RUclips channel. This way they kept getting extra attention and some of their covers happenned to be amazing... I'd suggest you to check "Forever", a cover of "In this moment", an american band. And I'd also suggest you to check another big hits of Nemophila (and even better songs then Rise, in my opinion): "Dissention", "Revive" and "Oiran".
Nemophila is pure 🔥. Hanabie is harajukucore but Nemophila is not a part of that scene. Nemo is more along the lines of mixing classic metal, thrash, numeral and whatever else they like. To hear Mayu sing live I highly suggest Oiran live from Naon Yaon 2014. No crowd (Covid) and raw sound.
Not all comments are accurate. Harajukucore is a label Hanabie invented for themselves because they didn't fit easily into established genres. I don't know of any other bands that call themselves Harajukucore, although I could be wrong. Harajuku is a fashion center of Tokyo. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu came out of that scene. If you look at her videos you can see the influence on Hanabie but not on Nemophila. Nemophila mostly works in established styles of metal and don't have a lot of J-pop in their music, unlike Hanabie.
Ah, that's really interesting. Part of the problem is I don't know much about the landscape of the music in Japan so I'll try to vet information I get from here on out, and try not to apply terminology to other bands if I'm not sure they fall under the same umbrella. Thanks for clarifying!
The closest Nemophila gets to Harajukucore is their song 'Style'. I can't say for sure if they were influenced by Hanabie, but it feels like they might have been. Certainly they incorporate elements of the Harajuku scene into the video. Check it out sometime.

I wouldn't consider Nemophila to be "Harajukucore".
I've been told that was an error on my part. You're absolutely right!
