    One of my favorite musicals!

As Roger Ebert noted, the musical numbers are magically 'everyday' without great prima donnas doing show stoppers. It brings the whole work down to a human level that is delightful.

3:09 doesn't he also sing (a little bit) in the car scene in Deconstructing Harry?

Which film is slowly creeping up the W.A. canon, as more people figure out that beneath its scabrous surface lies one of his very best, most trenchant works.

Sorry but musicals are amazing and yeah it's scary but if I was offered to be in one I bloody would do it, I don't think actors should be that horrified

How does it make you feel as a woody fan to know that his career is effectively over now? It is a sad way for it to end and his legacy is so damaged.

I think it was far worse in 1992, if you remember. Front page of every paper, main news item in prime time news. Once the outrage dies down, people will find a lack of evidence underneath the headlines and move on.
It’s people like Aziz Ansari whose careers will end because most people only now know him for one thing.

I think any actor/actress who wants to work with him is now going to be named and shamed publicly by the farrows and in the new #metoo era it is not worth the hassle... this is a different era to 1992 and his films are not annie hall grade any more anyway. Maybe he could still make a film in France but i think he's finished in hollywood. I also wonder who will be working with Polanski from now on, he has 11 separate accusers.

I think people are going to get hassled for a lot of reasons. Granted the Farrows and millionaires with hands all over the media, I think Franco, Ansari etc who have a younger audience will get the worst of it.

Also, Sally Hawkins, Sam Rockwell, Alison Janney etc all are awards contenders who felt no heat from the farrows. They are older, and their audiences are older. Farrows targeting Justin Timberlake and Selena Gomez because they are pop stars. It’s just twitter outrage. And I still get more hate comments for Allen being a jew than anything else.

We’ll see, I guess time will tell if a rainy day in New York is his last film
