@Prerona Creative Arts Thanks for sharing this info. My silicone mold is drying too fast. While mixing in the bowl, it starts to dry out and turns rubbery. By the time I put the leaf, the silicone is so dry that it hardly leaves any imprint. I had used nearly equal quantities of a local RTV Silicone sealant and Cornflour.
Don't put cornflour half quantity... U have to use 1/4 th first.... Then u can add little if till sticy

@@preronacreativearts Your tip worked. In the 2nd attempt I used 3 Tsp Silicone with approx 1.25 to 1.5 Tsp Cornflour. That solved the problem of too fast drying. I made a double sided leaf veiner, the back part came out quite well. But the front part of the leaf did not leave proper imprint, even though the veins on the real leaf were quite prominent. How to get a more clear imprint of very fine leaf veins?

U have to use very prominent leaf. U can try Anabond silicone sealant also.
@@preronacreativearts Anabond is not available in my country. I could only find one brand of general RTV Silicone in all the hardware stores I checked.

Yes u can do with wooden blocks also. I have tried it with silicone sealant not with liquid silicone. Please check my another video of mould making.

Not any fixed proportion… u have to mix small amount of cornflour at first and then add slowly till u got the desired consistency

I have got few newly bought pendants n wud like to cast them into silicone moulds. Yet afraid if the paint quality might fade away in the original pendant due to coating of oil on it before placing them on silicone mix. Can sumone suggest ways to prevent the gold r silver or matt paint from getting damaged in this
