- Evening walk in Beacon Hill, Boston, Massachusetts in the rain. Enjoy the binaural sounds of natural rainfall and city ambience while walking through Beacon Hill during Autumn. Beacon Hill is one of Boston’s most picturesque areas. Boston is beautiful around this time of the year. I love the Fall foliage. Please be warned that the video contains sounds of loud horns, traffic and sirens. Depending who you are you might find relaxing, but I'm aware that some hate it. Also, This video is an edited down version of a 4-hour walk. Either way, I hope you enjoy! :)

Thank you for making and sharing these amazing contents. I'm a So Cal resident who would choose the rain over sun any day, so your channel really makes me happy. Thank you!
People don't know how lucky they are to walk pain free. I miss it.

Thank you for reminding me to be grateful for what I take for granted.
🙏🏽praise God🙏🏽 I hope he blesses you in some other way
Stop feeling self-pity, everyone has pain in this life. Try to see the blessings around you.
It's been 2 days since I got tendonitis, I can't walk painlessly that's the reality of it lol but I'll wait a few weeks then I can run and dance again
My favorite thing about Boston is how different it looks from every other US city. It looks more like Dublin or London than any American city.
dude i legit thought it's london until I read the title
Because of the british that colonized this part of USA back in the days
only this spot in the video does, the cities aren’t like this it’s just downtown 😭
This is the first city colonised by the english men.
Modern American cities like LA or Atlanta are very ugly only the ones who are inspired by old european cities and architecture are beautiful. Hopefully cities will start to build in this style again.
The world is beautiful when it rains 😍

Have you ever seen rain in Russia ?
Not unless you live in mumbai
Yes it is but in the eternal words of Brandon lee"It cant rain all the time."

The combined smell of fresh rain and fall leaves….heavenly
ugh, can't wait for this again...!
definitely enjoying every bit of summer right now, but fall just never leaves the back of my head
fresh flesh? ;lol
I often wonder why we don't build cities and buildings like this anymore, its so gorgeous
because it's not the absolute cheapest thing we can do. easier to build cheap utilitarian prefabs. plus automotive industry has completely dominated our cities; nothing is designed for walking anymore.
You had such neighborhoods in every northern industrial city, however due to social engineering and demographic replacement they have been turned into no go zones and ghettos. Read "The Slaughter of Cities" by E. Michael Jones who grew up in Boston, or at least listen some of his lectures on that topic while they are still available on RUclips. He has a RUclips channel as well.
@@bademantil6046 that sounds cool, I'll look into that
It's not feasible anymore. It is much better to build modern homes with concrete or wood having large windows.
@@DebjyotiGorai I agree, it's not primarily about the material or style of individual building as much as it's about urban planning and urban grid.
This is beautiful, and heartbreaking at the same time. Became disabled and in a wheelchair now for 5 yrs. One of my favorite things to do is walk in the rain. Not being able to walk is hard enough, but not being able to leave my apartment for over 4 yrs feels like a slow death. My mental health is challenged just trying to keep it together living like this.
Could there be someone else to take you out?
I can take you 💖
I’m so sorry to hear that Hope! Is there a relative or friend close by who can take you for a walk?
Be strong , I love you❤
I know it is not polite to say people what to do. But to my mind, you should definitely get or borrow an electric wheelchair so you can go out and wander.
The red brick architecture is everything 😻
I'm from Boston, and I've always loved how beautiful the buildings are. A lot of the buildings in Boston are older brick buildings (because it's a very old city) but I think that's what gives the city so much character. :)
Definitely. Protect these buildings at all costs,
Ur lucky 🍀
Is there a regulation to use red bricks?
@@aryahawezi No regulations that I'm aware of! I think the reason why so many buildings are made with red bricks is because it was the cheapest material to use back in the day when all these buildings were built.
@@crazy_acid77 Ah, thank you! I agree, they look beautiful.
The fact that I know and recognize every little corner he walked pass is so fun. I walk there too. I work there and live there. He walked pass my house lol.

I love the feel of this city. Seems so cozy
It's only one part of Boston tbh other parts not so cozy
Take a walk through Southie or Mission Hill and I doubt you'd be feeling cozy. This video was filmed in Beacon Hill which is considered upper class.

most of the city isn't like this and you have to be extremely rich to afford to live in or even buy anything in this part of the city
@@Bilbob725 nah, even many of working class neighborhoods are really pretty.

@@Bilbob725 Boston is beautiful it has bad parts like any other city
I know that a lot of people would ve liked to be in Greece in June, enjoying the current heatwave, the sea, or the mountains, and everything nice and summery. But that little walk in the autumn in rainy Boston was what i was dreaming of this hot late afternoon in Athens. Jolly good indeed!
Thank you SO much for the walk, as a wheelchair user, you have no idea how much this means to me! Especially at the moment as I am housebound. Thank you sincerely! 🥰❤️🦋🙏

Salem, MA is also very beautiful, especially in the fall. They get very into Halloween lol
Visit Salem sometime. It's neat around fall but mobbed with tourists. The beauty of the city is there year round and you can appreciate it as much in spring as you can in autumn. New England in autumn is a special kind of beautiful, though, definitely worth experiencing. Salem is cool in autumn, but like I said - crowded as shit. Go up to NH and appreciate the mountains and the trees in fall. Much better than the crowds. Also, Portsmouth NH is really cool and old timey like this. Lots of cobble roads and brickwork, gas lamps and turn of the century buildings.
ik i live a half hour away i usually go every weekend
First I thought I was a weirdo because I can sit, drink my coffee in the morning and watch this on my tv for hours lol. I have watched this same video several times. It actually helps me know my way around this area better. It soothes me and working from home it makes me feel apart if the world lol. 45:50 my favorite street when he turns around to look back...narrow, the light, the doors, the cobblestone, the solitude and rain....perfect!!!
It's also a very pricy place to live as you can imagine but in my view and I too have walked those streets back in the early 80s ? It's still well preserved , clean and rich with its vibrant life of both history and culture even to this day. And im originally from the Bronx in the Big Apple but also have a fond love for this very quaint neighborhood
That's Acorn Street. The most instagrammed street in all of US
Absolutely! My daughter and I visited Boston, where I grew up, when she was a young girl. We met the very nice and friendly lady who lives on the right at the top of the hill. We will never forget her, so charming..like Boston. ❤
I grew up outside of Boston and I currently live in Malaysia, but it's videos like this that make me miss Boston.
Some people have commented that not all of the city looks like this - that is correct. What I actually miss about the city is the architectural diversity. If you go to Beacon Hill, the North End and Back Bay you'll see this type of English style brick architecture. Then you go to South Boston, Charlestown and parts of Dorchester and Roxbury and you'll see lots of triple deckers, which are very unique to New England. Then go to Roslindale, Roxbury and Allston-Brighton and you'll see a mixture of triple deckers, apartments, single family home and "common" type parks that are unique to New England as well. And don't forget some of the newer architecture we're seeing in the Seaport!
And that's only on the Boston side of the river. Cambridge and Somerville are beautiful and very walkable cities.
We rush through life and we miss these beautifully simple things...
You're right...absolutely

Imagine sitting inside that house by the fireplace looking out on your own little private oasis on a rainy day like this.
Yep. Dimmed lights and the crackling of a fireplace, a nice cup of tea or coffee and dark oak furniture with a big bookshelf in the back with a vintage dark leather recliner looking out into the courtyard.

Boston looks so... English/British. Almsot like a part of London.
This city maintained its original style while New York totally changed.
Not all of Boston looks like this, this is an extremely expensive and historic part of Boston, built for the political elite in the late 1700s. Boston still has a lot of skyscrapers. Downtown Boston, debatably Boston's most historically rich neighborhood, was mostly modernized, and is a mix of skyscrapers, historic buildings, and beautiful buildings by the harbor.
