I'm glad your better & showing us how to defined against bad guys a gain. I love your video's. I'm a Christian & don't want to hurt any one but believe you need to know what to do if you can't walk away. & I love that you tell people it's best to walk away. I would only hurt someone if they won't let me walk away & there is no other choice. Bill Shute outlaw4jesus 🇺🇸
I am 78 years old and I just discovered cane self defense. I never thought of it as a good non lethal means of defending my self before. I am a licensed gun carrier in Florida but if I don't have too shoot someone too protect myself than I feel your teaching will help me too stop an attack without killing someone. Great videos Thank You.
@@Savagecane I live up here in Starke that is not too far away. I hope I can make it down there soon. Thanks for the great videos. Great training videos..
I had no doubt in my mind that you would have a successful surgery and fully recover. We are all glad you are back and feeling much better ❤ With that being said, I am a big fan of body shots. Less likely to be crippling or lethal, with enough bang to drop them where they stand, or at the very least, disrupt their core enough that the upper and lower levels of their body have to fend for themselves until the core recovers, buying me time to reassess the situation. I’ve had fractured ribs, and the pain incapacitated that side of my body for a week. I’ve been hit in the solar plexus a few times, and it drives the air out of your lungs and it takes a few minutes to get your wind back. Body shots work. Lastly, if you go to the body and somehow end up in legality, it sounds much better saying you defended yourself by striking him in the body then saying you defended yourself by cracking his skull and putting him in a vegetative state. Great video, as always and glad you are back 100% 😊
Hi Gary. Glad to see you back and hear your recovery has gone well. I love the emphasis on just walk away if you can. In that midsection, the liver is also a great target for a bayonet strike or hard roundhouse to their right side below the ribs. The largest organ in the body and relatively unprotected, it is vulnerable to a punch, kick or cane strike.
Glad to see you back! God is good. I think in a deadly encounter adrenaline will keep a person from toning it down. At my age and condition if the perp has a knife or hatchet I better stop the threat NOW and worry about the consequence latter. " It's better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6". As the saying gos.
Glad your recovery is looking good, very nice black shepherd like cane with the hand grips! Nice to learn great areas to strike at and the consequences of each strike you’ve taught me. Life saving strikes to my opponent now that I know what strikes can cause a fatality. That is worth its weight in Gold. Thank you Master Hernandez!!!
Hi Gary. I am a new subscriber. I have enjoyed watching your video so far. I look forward to watching more. I have a question. I am left handed and thinking about developing cane self defense skills. Do you recommend learning to use a cane right handed or should I stay with my dominant hand?
Hi Kevin, thank you for subscribing. Use the cane in your left hand that's fine. But practice with both left and right hand. I need to do some videos on left-handed defense very soon. Thank you Gary
I didn't know you had surgery. That certainly explains why you were not posting. Best of luck with a full recovery.
Thank you very much Sir

I do enjoy watching your productions. I have, for a long while, walked with a cane. When I can't carry anything else, I have it.
Thank you very much for watching.
