Just picked mine up Marty! Love the wheel. It really powers through the wind, whereas my V11 is always tilting back in the wind and is scary! I'm using my V11 to train my friends and also for trail riding. The MP is going to be my street speeder and long distance wheel. Hope you have a chance to ride up here in the SF Bay Area!
Hey Tim I met u in Vegas at west wheel. I was the guy with the nik+. I’m gettin a mpro soon and I wanted to ask u what kind of range u get with urs since u ride fast like me. Hope u’re doing well btw
Sherman is: $3000 3200Wh battery 2500W power 77 lb weight 93 mile range Gotway Monster Pro is: $3500 3600Wh battery 3500W power 88 lb weight 101 mile range For the extra 8 mile range, the extra cost is $500 and 11 lb weight. An additional 400Wh battery, 1000W power also gained. Wondering how many riders would ride 100 miles in a day. Euco don't seem to sell the Veteran Sherman. Does Ewheels have exclusive distribution on the Sherman? Beautiful trails, half way river stop, ocean front, very nice ride. Great vid, look forward to the next one, thanks.
When comparing the wheels it's important to consider the type of ride that each one delivers. The Monster Pro provides a stable/smooth ride that the Sherman can't. So it's not all about range. eWheels has exclusive sales rights in the United States because they partially financed the development of the Sherman. Thanks
Great test Marty, as always! Thx so much for this test! I'm glad you mentioned Ian's video from Speedy Feet. If I recall correctly he got 67 miles vs 62 for the Sherman, which is pretty much the same ratio that you found: 101 miles for the Monster Pro vs 93 for the Sherman. Despite the difference in weather between his tests of the two beasts, these results are consistent. The big surprise here was the minimum voltage: I expected the Monster Pro to go down to 79.2V, like other 100V Gotways, but that you were able to go even lower than the Sherman's 75.6V minimum value is pretty wild. Makes me wonder about my new Nik+ with the LG M50T 21700s and newest mainboard. I wish Gotway was better at documenting these things to keep us from guessing. Veteran does say 75.6V is the lower range value in their manual. Wondering also about the battery pack configuration. The Sherman's 24s10p (*ten* parallel packs) is pretty impressive, split into two connections to the main board. Makes for a very safe wheel. Curious how that compares with the Monster Pro's.
I don't know the details of the MP's battery pack configuration. I've been talking with Ian. He is going to get the latest control board and give the MP another try. Expect more videos from him.
WrongWay did 153 km in colder weather on his Sherman. That's over 95 miles. But I am guessing Adam with gear and back still is lighter than Marty. The Sherman with streettires on aspalt in warmer weather wil definitely hit the 100 miles. I sure love that 24 inch tire🤩😍.
Got to hand it to you Marty, 6+ hrs of riding is beyond me (beyond my feet to be specific). Seems like the the Mpro isn't 1/2 as bad as some ppl in the forums like to perpetuate. Good test!
Great ride and information about the Monster Pro it does look like a real long distance touring wheel. We can only hope that the government get themselves in gear so we can explore even further. You guys do have the great open trails and good weather. Awesome.
That was fun to watch Marty Wow that MP24 has a great ride stat' if I knock off 45% for "Jericho " riding conditions , that's still 55 miles of insane day riding .. and yes I used to to catch air on my 2000w 1600wh gen1 75lb M22 .. so this 3500w 3600wh 90lb MP24 will def get sent'' of of bumps for some airtime .. our 24's will be here in 3 weeks .. I'll shoot some air an post.. then catch you at the upcoming LA ride 🤙
wow impressive range👌🏻 event tho it is cooler and you more heavy then sherman test i see another 10 miles there these Begode have really done well on the firmware! too! in the 25celcius at cruising i do 75km with my Nikola and i am 230lbs. the monster pro is a 120km+ to me in reality never expect to see euc like this wow!
EUCO will fix defects for up to a year. Plus, they're the only ones (I think) with a longer warranty thru Extend. U can cover it longer than you'd want to ride it... lol That's why I got my last wheel thru them
I’m not sure if I mentioned it here before, I use to sell Gotway 4-5 years ago and had many issues and the hoops became bigger and more to jump through to get warranty parts or help so I dropped them. I guess I’m not very tolerant for people not standing behind their own products.
@@michaelbesler7469 I get it and if there were better wheels available in each category then I probably wouldn't buy Gotway. But tell me where I can buy an alternative to the Monster Pro?
I don’t think I can, the closest I guess is the Sherman. I want to buy a monster again but I don’t like to support that kind of mentality of supporting a ghost company. Honestly they are only doing this well because of the good dealers they have.
very good data, as usual. as i expected range is very relevant percentage wise to the sherman. roughly %10 more battery has given you roughly %10 more range. so as far as range comparison i am thinking they both are the same. thanks again marty

King of all long range wheels (for now). Did you call that ship the Queen Mary 2? That's the OG Queen, QM2 is a working cruise ship, well, before covid anyways.
Unfortunately, Gotway requires you to buy a whole new control board. They are stuck in the 16th century :-) I don't have the energy to create such a such, sorry.
thx for this test. For sure MPro it is king of max range. But.... which one euc is in Your opinion better multifunctional wheel with big battery: for longer travels but also for offroad and city recreation: - sherman, EXN or monsterPro ? Did Yoy try EXN?
Sherman is certainly the better all around wheel. The Monster is a niche wheel for most people, but it has to be the best "cruiser". Yes, I've ridden the EX-N a bit and will be riding it more.
The beach scenery... perfect weather... butter smooth lanes... must be horrible to deal with... lol Knowing my luck, my wheel would be drawn to the water like a magnet to steel...smh
I wished you didn't make videos like these...now I have a sherman and a monster pro as my spare wheel plus a $300 dollar fiber shell, spike pedals, and still deciding on leather powerpads. :)

So many people are still on 84V wheels because they were waiting for THIS wheel.
We have a new king of speed, range, and comfort. I can’t wait for my Monster! 😈

@@ElectricUnicycles Ok, thanks, didn't know that Ewheels helped finance the R&D for the Sherman. Great work in helping out EUCO, thanks.

Thanks for the test Marty!

Tesla and MSPs tilted back aswell. I'm very happy that this MSPRO beats the sherman in range. Very good. Great video
Best most scenic halfway point in all of EUC riding lol

Can you do a speed run range test hahaha. Just need you to avg. 30mph. Nbd 😀
Better than the "Sherman"? Nothing is better than the Sherman except a brand new one... Great video as always.
