He understands that Fortnite is just a game and his family, his friends, himself, are the most important. It used to be a fun place to meet new people and hangout with your friends but now it’s literally a toxic wasteland, there hasn’t been a single lobby that I joined where someone isn’t flexing all their og/exclusive skins/emotes to others. “Hey, look at me with all these exclusive skins and look at you with your recent item shop skins.” Then they do the take the L emote and the laughing emote at others which is extremely toxic. I hate party royal it’s not the same anymore. There’s always someone emote battling every lobby I’ve been 2. They take the game way to serious.

This is the content we need. I used to obsess over this game and see if something in the shop was rare or not and always wait for shop to see what came out. Italk makes a great point they are pixels and you should focus on ur real life
People say that the solution is to allow voice chat or text chat, for people to actually communicate, like an social hub is supposed to be. However, there’s just a lot of negatives that can potentially come up as a result of that, and I’m sure Epic knows it, which is why it hasn’t happened yet or ain’t happening at all. There’s really no real solution to saving Party Royale. It’s a mode that was great on concept, but due to lack of innovation and lack of interest from Epic to further push Party Royale as an ideal social hub, especially as of late with nothing going on, and the mode seemingly having no future, that it should just be removed.
Yes party royal was supposed to be fun but now it's filled by sexual stuff and toxic flexers wich ruined the mode I'm addicted to playing the mode knowing I can make any flexer go away cs I have rare emotes that I love but I wouldn't be mad if they came back and if they come back I would be happy for my best Friend who wanted disc spinner for a year now

If Fortnite eventually goes offline forever, I question what’s gonna happen to them. There are families that don’t properly take care of their kids and those kids grow up without even managing to read or even do Normal stuff. And it sucks because they wasted their life on stuff that really doesn’t matter.

I completely agree with everything that has been said in this video, and I wanted to add a couple things. Some people just become enveloped in a game that really doesn't matter at all, but it's understanding because certain games can be addicting and all you want is the items that are in the game because it's all about the "I need that". I think what we all need to ask ourselves is what do we really need in life? We don't need digital cosmetics to make it through life, because they don't do anything to help is progress through what we struggle with or go through. Being a part of a Toxic community almost just makes me not want to play the game anymore because I feel it has been ruined for me by all these "Flexors" (or however you spell it) and all these cyberbullies that you could meet through creative and party royale based on what stuff you are wearing from your locker

For a mode so focused on social interaction, you can't even really talk to anyone unless you set it to fill and that's only with the other 3 people in your squad and 99% of the time they won't even have a mic If Epic really wants Party Royale to be a social space then I think they should have some sort of proximity chat along with requiring players to have a mic in order to play.

My opinion: Yes 90% of Party Royale lobys are always Toxic, horny, trolls and most of them flexes that are OG. It's really annoying but sometimes you find good people here that are awesome to talk or communicate about Fortnite. Even sometimes i see a group of kids with open mics just chilling or going go the restaurant placed and just chill or go on a race around the map. It's sad to see just so much negative things in party royale. There are even kids that just spray the floor and trying to spray a Nazi symbol and it's really not cool

As a party royale player myself i can confirm that players in that mode take emotes and exclusive skins way too seriously they wants to emote battle you and if you declined you get take the L on, and honestly that's not the only problem. There's weirdos that likes to do the pony up emote on you, there's toxic players that like to be toxic for no reason, griefers. I honestly can't even make friends in that mode because everytime once in a while if you try to go up to a player (especially a girl) they move away like they could catch covid from a video game lol.
I agree with ITalk, I play party royale purely just to take a break from sweaty games, now I can't even do my favorite emote without someone coming up to me and doing it too just to flex or say they have it too. These kids and even adults ruined party royale for me and plenty of others. I'm sure everyone has heard of youtubers making content out of literally flexing on kids and they're adults! It's just disappointing what most of the community has come to.

It’s a good thing someone finally spoke out about this, party royale has been a crap show for years especially with certain skins and emotes. 1 real issue is all the kids that are just discovering puberty and 2 is a lot of people want to cancel you when you get something that was never actually considered not coming back. The Fortnite item shop can in theory rerelease any skin because nothing we buy Is actually really special can come back even battle pass stuff. I agree. The only solution to this kind of hostility is to make it where only battle pass or console exclusive skins or emotes are considered rare. Item shop skins/emotes whatever should all come back to the shop to make sure this is just no longer an issue. Cry about it but it’s just factual.

I agree. Party Royale to me was at first a place where I would go to cool down after losing too many games and just race around the map with others. All that got boring and monotonous very fast. These mini events for a while were great but if epic wants it to be more social they definitely need to update it, a lot. Today,99% of toxic kids flex emotes and skins there.

Being honest this is just the mirror of what the community has been shaped to be by toxic content creators: hate, toxicity, entitlement, bullying, racism, homophobia etc. It is sad that there's not a single effort from Epic's side to even try to push for a more positive attitude in the comm. Rarity is such a foreign concept to me, people take it as a digital status symbol which is so dumb! Candywing receiving hate, racism and harrasment is so beyond crazy!!! People getting mad because 3D digital assets are back in the store. Even if Reflex and Double Helix came back a the store, there's no reason to be mad, because that only keeps promoting and even being apologetic of the toxic behaviour rarity generates. But Epic will keep making cosmetics artificially scarce to create "hype" around them even if it generates toxicity... Which is bad as it keeps promoting this kind of behaviour just for profit.

I thought it wasn't a big issue that many people cared about, the only reason i care about it is because my parents called me one night talking about how my brother was crying because they brought some green skin back from season 1 a few days ago. I don't remember the skin, but he was literally red-faced bawling his eyes out in rage. I only play the game with him so i don't know the rarity of the skins, but i know that some things don't come back for years because there a cute pink kitty named empress that ive been checking daily for months to see if it's there.
I personally don’t use Party Royals but I think it’s great to have because it’s fortnite ‘s hangout room like a Roblox or IMVU. It gives those types of players an area to enjoy rather than going to a different game.

As a person that plays party royale every day listening to my playlist making friends in there, I totally agree with you. My favourite emote is slick (one of the rarer emotes) and not all the time but most of the time I have some random dude come up to me spamming the boogie bomb emoji (wanting to emote battle) and I always ignore it. When I first found out about emote battles, I though it was a great idea to play a knew way of party royale but a month or two later it started to get out of control and people were being toxic about it. Before emote battles were just everyone standing in 1 circle and 1 person in the middle. The person in the middle would do an emote and the first one to do that emote will go in the middle and do a different emote so on and so forth. In that type of emote battling, there was no toxic, no death threats and just fun.
Agree with you people in party royale always think having rare emotes makes you look like coolest kid on the block. It just emotes they eventually will come back to the item and people will always say " I had it when it was rare RIP☹️😢" like dude it just emotes relax.

I personally don’t care for rarity, but I do like wearing skins and cosmetics that aren’t ran by many others. I always try my best to control my emotions, but sometimes I can’t. I completely agree with everything that has been said in this video, and I wanted to add a couple things. Some people just become enveloped in a game that really doesn't matter at all, but it's understanding because certain games can be addicting and all you want is the items that are in the game because it's all about the "I need that". I think what we all need to ask ourselves is what do we really need in life? We don't need digital cosmetics to make it through life, because they don't do anything to help is progress through what we struggle with or go through. Being a part of a Toxic community almost just makes me not want to play the game anymore because I feel it has been ruined for me by all these "Flexors" (or however you spell it) and all these cyberbullies that you could meet through creative and party royale based on what stuff you are wearing from your locker

My opinion: Yes 90% of Party Royale lobys are always Toxic, horny, trolls and most of them flexes that are OG.

As a party royale player myself i can confirm that players in that mode take emotes and exclusive skins way too seriously they wants to emote battle you and if you declined you get take the L on, and honestly that's not the only problem. There's weirdos that likes to do the pony up emote on you, there's toxic players that like to be toxic for no reason, griefers. I honestly can't even make friends in that mode because everytime once in a while if you try to go up to a player (especially a girl) they move away like they could catch covid from a video game lol.

I agree with ITalk, I play party royale purely just to take a break from sweaty games, now I can't even do my favorite emote without someone coming up to me and doing it too just to flex or say they have it too. It's just disappointing what most of the community has come to.

The Fortnite item shop can in theory rerelease any skin because nothing we buy Is actually really special can come back even battle pass stuff. I agree. The only solution to this kind of hostility is to make it where only battle pass or console exclusive skins or emotes are considered rare. Item shop skins/emotes whatever should all come back to the shop to make sure this is just no longer an issue. Cry about it but it’s just factual.

I agree. Party Royale to me was at first a place where I would go to cool down after losing too many games and just race around the map with others. All that got boring and monotonous very fast.

When I had OG items I wanted them to come back because 1. I wanted people to enjoy something that they probably wanted for awhile and also because it’s a game where people should enjoy what their character looks like people honestly needs to grow up

"emote battle" wasn't in my bingo card for 2022... Being honest this is just the mirror of what the community has been shaped to be by toxic content creators: hate, toxicity, entitlement, bullying, racism, homophobia etc. It is sad that there's not a single effort from Epic's side to even try to push for a more positive attitude in the comm.
Rarity is such a foreign concept to me, people take it as a digital status symbol which is so dumb! Candywing receiving hate, racism and harrasment is so beyond crazy!!! People getting mad because 3D digital assets are back in the store.
Even if Reflex and Double Helix came back a the store, there's no reason to be mad, because that only keeps promoting and even being apologetic of the toxic behaviour rarity generates.
But Epic will keep making cosmetics artificially scarce to create "hype" around them even if it generates toxicity... Which is bad as it keeps promoting this kind of behaviour just for profit.

I thought it wasn't a big issue that many people cared about, the only reason i care about it is because my parents called me one night talking about how my brother was crying because they brought some green skin back from season 1 a few days ago. I don't remember the skin, but he was literally red-faced bawling his eyes out in rage. I only play the game with him so i don't know the rarity of the skins, but i know that some things don't come back for years because there a cute pink kitty named empress that ive been checking daily for months to see if it's there.

I personally don’t use Party Royals but I think it’s great to have because it’s fortnite ‘s hangout room like a Roblox or IMVU. It gives those types of players an area to enjoy rather than going to a different game.

As a person that plays party royale every day listening to my playlist making friends in there, I totally agree with you. My favourite emote is slick (one of the rarer emotes) and not all the time but most of the time I have some random dude come up to me spamming the boogie bomb emoji (wanting to emote battle) and I always ignore it. When I first found out about emote battles, I though it was a great idea to play a knew way of party royale but a month or two later it started to get out of control and people were being toxic about it. Before emote battles were just everyone standing in 1 circle and 1 person in the middle. The person in the middle would do an emote and the first one to do that emote will go in the middle and do a different emote so on and so forth. In that type of emote battling, there was no toxic, no death threats and just fun.
Agree with you people in party royale always think having rare emotes makes you look like coolest kid on the block. It just emotes they eventually will come back to the item and people will always say " I had it when it was rare RIP☹️😢" like dude it just emotes relax.
