As far as durability is concerned - the Raider is made from a patented polymer that was developed to replace metal engine components. It is incredibly durable. Look at Sage Dynamics drop tests of the Raider, and then look at his drop test of the Holosun AEMS, and the B&T Host is falling apart, with multiple parts breaking off. Its not a foregrip. Its a spare magazine retention device that just happens to be in the location of, and works well as, a foregrip. Its original design intent was not to be a grip to facilitate two handed shooting. If they'd have molded something stupid into the side of it like finger grooves, or the word "grip zone", then you'd have a problem as that shows intent to be used as a grip. That's how you can legally have a "foregrip" on your pistol. Just like shouldering a brace doesn't magically make it a stock designed for shouldering. Its original design intent is to be used as an arm brace. How you use it is not really part of the equation.

Glad you like the Raider and that they turned out a good and relevant product. After getting a B&T USW-A1, USW-Glock and building out Recover 20/20 braces for a Glock and P80, I think this kind of weapon has real application for people. No, it's not like having an AR15 with you at all times, but this type of weapon is something you would be a lot more likely to have with you when you need it and the AR15 got left at home because it stopped being fun leaving it in a vehicle and wondering if it would be stolen all the time because you can't really carry one in a bag discretely. I'd love to see a comparison between the Raider and USW-A1 if you get the chance, James. The USW-A1 is a damned fine weapon that is overlooked because, like the Raider, it looks "gimmicky" until you shoot it. it really is a Carbine you can carry in a holster like a handgun.

@@josephfoutch5889 It is a Flux prototype, not sure if we will release it. Very concerned about people shooting their hands, which is why it isn’t released yet.
You need to start using the stock/brace deployment level to release the slide during reloads instead of racking the slide, it makes it even quicker. There's a pretty generous range where you can release the slide without unlocking the stock and it's worth learning for the improved speed IMO.
