Great video, simple clear instruction on how to remove the top, the door seal, front panel, and how to replace a spring. You have taught the first three, these will surely assist with access to many more repairs. Many thanks.
hello . how can i tell if the spring is bad? i already changed shock absorbers for original new ones and the machine now goes back and forth at the start of the spin cycle. then it vibrates quite a bit while centrifugating.
Hi. My washer is 14 year Miele and it now rumbles like chief Wiggams. Is it likely the springs or suspension rods? Is there a way I can tell if springs are stretched? Are springs meant to have any gap between coil of spring when drum is idle? Is that how you know if spring is stretched or measure will work then compare with new spring measurement ? I need a waffle
@@drop-and-run yeah I replaced shockers for about 50 aus dollar made no diff. I live in town where water is heavy so metal rusts quicker . I gave up and decided to buy new machine and tore the old one to pieces ,such fun

I only remove the top cover and put back on the new spring and that’s it done
How do you hold the weight of the machine up while doing that
Is it not possible just to hook a new spring into position? Why remove the boot seal? Is it to prevent damage to it?
But why does it need replaced
What was wrong with the old spring? What are the signs of a bad spring?
One broke here today. You will hear it.

What did you do to fix this? I did the same and my washer still shakes violently on spin
Damn. Wish I'd thought to use a ratchet strap. I tried using a car jack lol
Good hazard notifications
Thank you!

i would also like to know this. my washing machine goes back and forth when the spin cycle starts. i put new shock absorbers and the problem persists.
