When I was in the US Navy we went to dive bar and the owner put Matchbox 20 on repeat over and over until we all sang the songs this was in the late 90's so this band has sentimental value to me
So mad at myself that we bailed out before they did their version of Don't You Forget About Me. As soon as Bright Lights ended I just assumed that it was over. Another great night for MB20 in The Lou!!!

God, I wish I had rediscovered them a few months earlier. I had my sister in law offer to take me to a concert a few months ago, but I couldn't think of any I wanted to go to nearby(we live in Arkansas). But I just rediscovered the band about 3 weeks ago after around 17 years, and their next concert is in Florida(and they were just in Rogers AR a month ago smh), and while I think my brother and SIL would be willing to go to it, I think I would rather just wait and see if they come anywhere nearby again the future. Idk if I'm really up for a 16+ hour road trip both ways :| (and definitely not up for traveling to Australia/New Zealand where their next several shows are lol)
I feel that one, I really got into David Bowie right after he had to take a break during his Reality tour. And of course as history has shown us he never toured again, so I never got my chance 😭
Australiaooks fully sold out anyway. 16hrs is a big drive for anything. Matchbox might not go around again they are all pretty busy these days and not getting any younger. Rob might do anothe album and tour solo again but MB20 have so many great songs the concert set list is great. I'm seeing them in Perth Australia next month can't wait...

I was there. I might have been in the rowdy crowd on the side of the stage for the first three songs. They gave it all and it was incredible!!!!!
