What a cute cat you have. I rented that version of Revenge from a short lived video rental shop circa 1985. Went to investigate the place after a friend told me about it, my uncle became a member and in the school hols I would rent this numerous times. And at 75p , why wouldn't you...?
Thanks Maggie likes to get in on the action in lots of my videos :) I rented this quite a few times myself and couldn't wait to see that magical opening credits tunnel appear
I can imagine what some lad must’ve felt after buying that, seeing the Cybermen in the cover, and then being extremely confused when he sees the Cybernomads (the predecessors to the Cyberneomorphs, the Earthshock Cybermen)
Interestingly, they used the same master of this release on the standard release throughout the 90s. The Star Ident had long gone by then but they still released it with the one from this edition... The earlier releases from 1981-1983 were in book binder covers, where the cover wrapped around the box like a dust cover and opened like a chocolate box.
My cat Tessa is just the same never happy till they are getting the attention they crave, lovely cat. I like Revenge of the Cyberman specially when they have the scenes in wooky caves very atmospheric and don't get why certain fans don't enjoy it we got to see them after a long hiatus not appearing with Jon Pertwee plus along with the Daleks they are iconic monsters we want the Doctor to come up against. 🐈🐾🐈🐾

I did the same at the musical box video shop in Bargoed, Wales. A copy was in there.
I think us fans must have generated a huge amount of money in rentals for the. Lol

I was just happy to see some Dr Who on tape :)

Some early 1984 BBC VHS tapes have the same

Not sure if there's anything correct on the packaging 🤔

I don't know - purring on podcasts and now muscling in on videos - its a kitty invasion i tell you
She edits my videos too but keeps attacking the mouse
Did I detect a Fawlty Towers reference? ripping good show!
Very possibly, Fawlty Towers and Python usually creep in somewhere lol
@@imarmodels And The Last 1949 Show? How about Blackadder?
Blackadder should be studied in schools as a work of genius
@@imarmodels There are a lot of cunning plans in Black Adder.
Great info!
Thanks
@@imarmodels Do you have the Brain of Morbius on VHS?
@@lionshinzato561 not any more. I had the 60 minute small case version
@@imarmodels That's unfortunate. Thinking of tracking down another copy? I like your cat. I also have a cat that demands attention.
@@imarmodels I really enjoyed your story about backpacks and cyber bombs. Is that because you watched the VHS over and over with your friends?
