      Wylde has really wide vibrato. Vai and Friedman have great vibrato too. There are many. Great video!

      At one end of the scale Eddie Van Halen and at the other David Gilmour...both as effective it very different ways.

    Bravo! When I was teen, first learning guitar, my older cousin, who was a pro, gave me an afternoon-long guitar lesson that was transformative for my playing. The first thing he brought to my attention, after hearing me play, was that my vibrato was out of time. Totally ear-opening moment! Great to see you give this issue attention. -Tom

    FINALLY!! I’ve been trying to explain this to fellow guitarists for years, and falling on deaf ears. If one’s vibrato doesn’t mesh in with the rhythm then it always sounds frantic. I’ve heard guitarists who would otherwise be good players, but their vibrato makes listening to them like chewing on aluminum foil !!!!
