So great to find someone else gardening in qld with a RUclips channel!
I'm a bit lower in Southeast qld but its great to see what you've got going on.
With the aphids i use the fan setting on my hose to blast the off. Not sure if that might be too harsh while the plants are small though.
Great work though, keep making videos 😍

    Hey 👋😃
    Another great video!, thankyou!
Our mulberry is also loaded. Your “dwarf” looks like it has dwarf leaves only! Our leaves are huge. I think those are “bunching” onions. Ours are also covered in aphids.
How will you protect those tomatoes out the front from fruit fly? Netted Bags?
Also, when you’re saving your podded peas or snow pea seed, do you get rodents eating them on the vine? I’ve noticed a few being stolen. I’m wondering how to keep them away while the seeds dry.
I love your garden! Thanks for another informative video, I always save your videos to watch when I get time to myself! Happy gardening from Bribie Island.

The leaves do get huge, I think it’s put all its energy into fruit this year. Re tomatoes I’ll do what I’ve done with the ones that are close to ripening and that’s chucking the net over the entire bed - normally I just net individual fruit bunches but I did go a little overboard this year. The peas have been fine from the rodents 🤞 they didn’t even eat the ones in the aquaponics where the damage was occurring. They seem to only eat them if they are on their path so if I plant near fence rails.

I've been growing them for years - so my saved seeds. I'll have some back in stock when these ones finish up. But I got the original plant from Basilea herbs.

Those onions look like chives . if they have purple flowers they probably are chives

There are flowering chives in that bed, just one or two onions that haven’t gone to seed yet.
