Phil The Thrill Glory's lucky that Nieky being pissed off means him being more motivated instead of him trying to go elsewhere. This Daniels rematch for a belt that should have already been his is ridiculous but whatever, he'll get it and no one will doubt him.

It takes years of training and dozens of fights against the best competition around to get to the level where Holzken is at. Daniels hasn't faced any real competition outside of Nieky and Joe. And we know how that worked out for him. Daniels has fought in the World Combat League which was an amateur league. Where he dominated. YAY! The few opponents he won against outside of the WCL where at the same level as his WCL opponents. So, unless he lands a lucky punch he's gonna get massacred. Even if he has tried to make some adjustments to his fighting style, which I don't believe he has judging by his last fight. A few months of training don't change a lifetime of habit.
@Sture Berg a lot of Dutch families/groups of friends have certain camping spots where they spend a lot of time in the summer. It's a nice change of pace where you can have everyone (especially grandparents) taking care of each others kids and have a lot more outdoor activity with the kids (less tv/computer/game related stuff). So in the time period where kids have summer vacation it's not weird for a family to practically live on the camping very close to home (parents usually still have to work some of that time). Some people only come by for a weekend or week, so the group changes size over time. It just becomes a bit of a tradition after a while. Plenty of folks go abroad for vacation, just depends on your opportunities and priorities. Some people would rather be on a Dutch camping for 2 months than abroad for 2 weeks and then having 6 weeks of kids sitting at home needing attention. Hope that explains that. Nieky holzken is one of the strongest strikers in stand up out there. There are many people who can produce a powerful hit but, none have the strength he has for his size and weight. Pure technique, in his latest fights he hits with such power, you can see his opposition crumble after each strike. A savage in the ring. The funny thing is, after each fight he is friendly and nice. He hugs and shakes hands, you can see its nothing personal. Imagine how vicious this guy would become if he were really pissed, a real fight. I honestly believe he would rip someone's head off or literally beat them in side out. A scary thing to think about.
Austin Stalvey You rarely see dutch kickboxers carry any animosity towards their opponents. Most of the time it's strictly business . In the old k1 days u often had gym mates and training partners compete against each other in the tournaments. I truly believe that's an important reason for the succes they have had in the past and still have now. If u fight without emotion it's easier to stay composed and focused on the goal at hand. Of course it can help to get mad in a fight cause it raises your adrenaline levels but if it gets to personal u start to make mistakes because u want it to bad or u want to go for the ko to fast.
Hey guys, as a big fan and practitioner. I really enjoyed this video! :) would really like to see more inside backstory with all the GLORY fighters like this video you just uploaded. Maybe one on Raymond Daniels since he is fighting Nieky. Generally speaking, love to see more background story of fighters, their motives, their daily life maybe like a mini short documentary on them, like the UFC's countdown shows, primetime, road to the octagon or even the UFC video diaries. But besides that, keep up with the good Job you guys are doing at the moment. I really enjoy GLORY and a massive fan. :) would love you's to put on a show in Australia.

I'm pretty tight with Joe, i was the first person to interview him when he joined Glory as an unknown in Istanbul and I was the person he requested do his recent interview when he announced he was vacating the belt due to his health issue. Im Not Chris He says "osu" (thats how you write it) but it sounds like "oosh" (thats how you say it). In many gyms and Martial arts it's a sign of respect to the gym the trainer and your trainings partners. In tradition you have to say osu just before entering the gym and before leaving while facing the gym. Also when a trainer explains something or tells you to do something you say osu meaning that you understood.
im a UFC guy and just stumbled onto Nieky. I really like him he is a good role model for kids growing up and a Family Man.
