    Really wish you would have shown the process of making the shape of the petals... That's kinda on vital part of it, and even though everyone develops their own feel or technique, it's very helpful to actually observe the mechanics and motion of one that works! Gorgeous flower... Just wish I could have seen the actual difficult part left for me

      She probably used a rose petal cutter (tear drop) Handy to have a set of them (varying sizes) if you plan to do a lot of them otherwise you could just make one out of cardboard and cut around it.

      This is funny I know this is a year old but if you go and view the video again you’ll see that she goes through each and every step and she used a small silver funnel cap that used for cake decorating sorry I don’t know the name of them. Lastly This is a friendly FYI Yes she posted the video in fast mode because she knows we could slow it down as much as we want just tap the 4 little dots at the top right corner of the screen and select your option when done just go back and return it to normal. Peace be with you.

      @@cecesantillano9551 yeah, I had a phone that was given through the free phone program and didn't have the option to slow it down like that. Quality of videos we're visually and interactively retarded then. Quite literally. (So, please no one take offense, please. I mean it in the literal sense, and not as a comparison or parallel!) Thank you for letting me know, though! 'Cuz now I CAN go back and slow it down, yay!! 😁🎉 ALSO! Ty for being a sincere advocate for the RUclipsr, hon. The world could use some more of that. ❤️

    What's the white stuff you dipped the stick in?

      liquid clay. It is used as glue.

      @@crystalsandclay I'm experienced with making flowers out of sugar gum but I want to make some out of polymer clay. I was wondering though, if I make much larger blooms than what you've done here, will the clay soften and flop when baking?

      @@catherina2611 Late answer. But to anyone wondering the answer is no :)
      Search for "Beautiful Rose with polymer clay" on yt. She made a big, realistic rose with thin petals. I've never made big roses myself but I've made a thin cape for a figure and it stayed the same.

    What kind of varnish u use? Is water based polyurethane varnish good for air dry polymer clay?

    • @crystalsandclay
      @crystalsandclay  3 года назад +1

      I usually don't use any varnish. I find it a little bit unnatural.

    What is the yellow thing you are working on?

    • @megaroo6110
      @megaroo6110 4 года назад +1

      Miranda Cierra Mayoralgo it's a piece of foam used when making flowers in clay, paper, or fondant. It allows you to press down on the petals with a ball stylus tool in order to thin and shape them.
